For today’s grammar lesson, it’s ‘should’ve ‘ not ‘should of’.  Should’ve is a contraction for should have.

I ‘m really starting to worry about the quality of education in this country.

To be honest I really don't care about how you feel about my grammar or the education level of the country. Stay on topic.

Strong debut for the rookie QB in a loss to SEA.

What we learned so far from Sunday's Week 4 games

3. Don't get caught up in the box score when looking at Cardinals rookie quarterback Josh Rosen's first career start. Rosen completed 15 of 27 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown with some impressive throws, but his receiving corps didn't help out a lot early in the game. Wide receivers Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald and J.J. Nelson all dropped passes, and Fitzgerald experienced a very uncharacteristic two drops in the first half. Rosen had perfect ball placement on deep passes to Kirk and Nelson, only to see the ball squirt away. Nelson, in particular, dropped a pass that should have set the Cardinals up with a first-and-goal at about the 5-yard line.

Nevertheless, Rosen showed poise throughout the game to overcome the drops and led the team late in the fourth quarter to the game-tying score with a laser 22-yard strike to wide receiver Chad Williams. Given his arm strength and ability to shake off early adversity, the Cardinals rookie's future looks bright.

Where were all of the comments after the 1st start of his career?  It was pretty silent in here.

First game, with no game tape for defenders to study on.

As an aside, did Ledyard give Allen a pass for Holmes & Zay dropsies?

How about his OL had Iupati and Pugh at Guard to give him some time in the pocket.  This is really all about a reflexive defense mechanism by fans to protect Allen.

Rosen has yet to have a good game.  And his most recent game was so bad only Peterman has been worse and it got his OC Fired.

But please, people keep on going about how we should have drafted Rosen.  His career isnt yet determined, but geezus he’s been bad so far.  He would kill to have a game like Allen did against Minnesota.  And Rosen has a better weapons to work with too around him.

Really sick of hearing about Rosen...we drafted Allen, and it’s too early to tell who will be better, but I liked Allen more on draft night and still like him more now and to me he has shown more so far too.

Go Bills...Rosen can go eat a bag of d***s cuz he isn’t a Buffalo Bill.

And defensive mechanisms to bash Allen by some to protect opinions of other guys they preferred?????

What everyone should know, anyone that is objective about things, are that:

1.  All rookie QBS tend to struggle, even the ones that turn out to be great HOF types.  Aikman himself last night talked about how much he struggled as a rookie.

2.  As much as folks talk about how it's all having a QB in the league, you have to have other parts such as a functional offensive line and decent receivers.  Rookies who are already struggling to adjust to the NFL game have even more trouble doing so when the rest of the team around them is lacking in ability.

To the contrary, his 1st game was very good.

Ledyard wasted no time with a I Told You So analyses on Rosen's decent performance and Allen's bad performance, didn't he?

Yet, just like there's concern that we haven't seen much improvement so far from the most raw 1st round QB, I'd be much more concerned in AZ that the most pro-ready QB in the draft has gotten progressively worse as the defense study up on him.  Yesterday was very Peterman worthy.

180 yards 1 td ?

Whay was the good part ?

 Don't box score scout. Look at the cut ups of what he did in the game.

He passed for about 240 yards last week, but he wasn't as good as in the 1st start.  Stat lines don't tell everything.

Von Miller is something else!  I can't remember who it was, but someone on TSW claimed before the season that he was no longer an impact player and said he should be traded.

Probably the same guy that said we should have drafted Rozen.

Yes I do feel better after hearing that Bills made a monumental mistake in passing over Rosen to draft Allen

It shouldn't. No QB was going to look good palying behind that line against Denver last night.  Allen is on his own path irrespective of what's happening with Rosen, Mayfield, and Darnold.

Does this mean you will never again link a story on this site about a player that has absolutely no connection to the Buffalo Bills?

Rosen's issue all along. He played with a superior Oline and still got injured and made bad reads. What happens when he doesn't have that Oline? He sees the rush.

I remember during the injury debate with Rosen I said Allen probably gets hurt 1st, and look at that. Both players won't survive in the NFL. Allen thinks he's a running back. Has to protect his body better.

That's because you staked out a position at the draft and you're unwilling or unable to come off that position for ANY purpose.

Oh I'll definitely come off that position as soon as Josh Allen anticipates a throw.
