I am not sure what the word catastrophic means anymore.

Anything from mass casualties to a power outage.....I'm about ready to add it to my list of words that I cant stand because the media abuses them.

Outrage

Backlash

 Viral

Shaming

Virginia has ordered evacuation of Hampton Roads Zone A (area most prone to flooding)

I love some of the Facebook snowflakes complaining about being forced to leave because they don't know where they should go

They’re complaining because they were ordered a mandatory evacuation 5 days out. I live in zone a and had more surge last week during the new moon. I didn’t evacuate so I guess that makes me a snowflake.

It's business as usual at Camp Lejeune.

the local weather channel routinely boosts the shown temperature 12 degrees F, nobody has a clue where they are talking about in "Toronto"

maybe they are measuring outside of a pizza oven?

i guess this data helps prove something

My friends are getting married in October, and we bought tickets April to Yankees-Red Sox Tuesday.  We are rolling 24 deep.  Right now it is looking like whatever is left of Florence will be dumping on NYC.  Oh well, it will be a wet adventure at the very least!

Another cow birthing story?

No, but with this low pressure I expect a few in the next week

Mock them all you want.  Per the news just a few minutes ago the outer Banks will be open to tourists on Sunday.

Friends in Wilmington and down where the brunt of the storm hit are already on the streets and stores back open to move on with life.

Hocus pocus, good job media!  One day you'll be news!

I wouldn't count on it. I cant speak for anyone but myself,  but the damage they've brought upon themselves over the past several years due to completely biased reporting has caused me to lose all faith in objective reporting.

Correction: This IS the Weather Channel. Ugh. Reminds me of the time the report was in the boat, and two people walked on the water behind her.

Watch this guy fight the winds as two people stroll behind him.

I'm about 140 miles away from the eye. Breeze.  A little bit of drizzle at best every now and again. I'm outside working. Haven't even got damp.

Even tamer in Raleigh.  Just went for a run.  Like a normal rainy day.  Flip on the news though and you would think the apocalypse is at hand...
