This is a strange one. He talked, just talked, and might go to jail for a few years. But it is cheating.

On another level, wtf was a wealthy guy like this going in so much for a single company? Just stupid. And convincing your family to do the same, that's DCTom stupid!

I think we need Colonel Ossman's take on this. Seems to me to be a clear Zionist conspiracy to attack "No Parking" signs at the Pentagon.

Are those the actions of a corrupt public servant? Or one who is applying the law equally regardless of party or affiliation?

He had to pick people with experience, integrity and a belief in the rule of law or they wouldn't have made it through the Senate. He's been fuming about it since

So you heartily support Jeff Sessions  as being a person with integrity?

The indictment details that on March 20, 2015, Hunter told his wife, Margaret, that he was planning to “buy my Hawaii shorts” but had run out of money.

The DOJ alleges that Margaret told Hunter to buy shorts at a golf pro shop so that they could describe the purchase as “some [golf] balls for the wounded warriors.”

Classy.

The "yellowcake" story was quite incriminating.   Saddam had 20 metric tons of yellowcake he could not enrich dating back to Desert Storm.  He had no need for more.

Tenet didn't care.  Tenet wanted to manipulate the US to invade Iraq, so a "yellowcake from Niger" story popped up, complete with a FORGED "document" to back up...

When Americans noticed that Saddam had no CENTRIFUGE to enrich the yellowcake, the US "intel" started lying about Saddam "acquiring parts for a centrifuge," in other words, a Chosen lie needed another Chosen lie to not be seen as the obvious CHOSEN LIE it was originally.

WMD was 100% Zionist lies and treason.  Everyone who got it "wrong" is a full fledged traitor to the US.

BTW, the Jeff Sessions DOJ has now produced two and only two indictments of those in the House or the Senate - both were very EARLY supporters of Trump - both are completely frivolous relative to what goes on in the Congress.

Jeff Sessions DOJ = if you supported Trump, you are in big legal trouble regardless.  If you didn't, go ahead and break every law, because you won't get prosecuted as long as Swampy Jeff gets his $$$$

Who Will Replace Chris Collins, the Indicted Congressman, on the Ballot? Perhaps No One

Yet even as local Republican leaders have interviewed a slate of replacement candidates for the seat, there is a real possibility that Mr. Collins could stay on the November ballot and represent the party.

/snip

Removing someone from the ballot in New York is no simple matter, and Republican officials in the 27th Congressional District now say they may not have a new nominee until after the state primary on Sept. 13. (Mr. Collins ran unopposed in the congressional primary in June.)

Can't let the Dems have a free seat due to political dirty tricks (the timing of the indictment, and possibly the indictment itself). Vote. Vote. Vote.

I've thought about voting in the primary today. The Collins thing is what it is, and I really don't know of anything else that's really being contested.

i don't know that there were political dirty tricks in this instance. Collins pretty much shot himself in the foot, didn't he? would it have been better for the information to come out after the election? if the indictment was bogus, wouldn't Collins have continued to fight it and have stayed in the race?

The timing was the "trick", IMO. After he was on the ballot and removal would be difficult in NYS.

As far as the indictment being bogus, who knows? Maybe it is, maybe it is not. But staying and fighting isn't always in the person's, or the party's, best interest.

I haven't read the local news lately... they decided not to try and push him to the Clarence town board ballot? (And yes, he's a slam dunk if he remains on  the ticket.)

In attack ad, Collins cites made-up statistic about job losses related to Korean free-trade deal

Collins made his claim as part of a campaign commercial (see video above) that attacks McMurray's past employment as an attorney for U.S. companies in Korea.

According to the Buffalo News story, McMurray helped U.S. companies trying to open up the Korean market to their exports.

McMurray learned to speak Korean while working there. He married a Korean. He's said that the Collins' ad is xenophobic.

Should have blamed it on Trump's increasing tensions on the Korean peninsula.   Just as idiotic, but much more believable to the gullible masses.
