No. I am not.

I realize this now.  My apologies.  You look younger and I thought you were closer to Cletus' age.

So back to you point ... yeah ... millenials suck it.

"What does the phrase "The Good Old Days" mean to you ?"

Living in an apartment near Tifft, going to P.S.29 on South Park in the early '60's walking to and from school and to home and back for lunch.

Moving, as a soon to be teen to a 1st tier suburb to a house that seemed not much bigger than the apt. Naively thinking it was the end of the world.

But there were always kids to play/ hangout with no matter the weather Both male and female. Then I left high school in '76 and had to make  life decisions.

Is that when the farting started?

Thank you for your apology. And if you offend me again I will stab you.

This is a euphemism?

I don’t think so....YOU should report him!

Kids playing pick up sports with their friends from the neighborhood.

Now it’s all organized with parents, coaches, permission slips, schedules, referees.

Explains why millennials don’t have coping skills.

What would he then do to me (either literally or euphemistically)?

His weapon is the pen.

Or maybe a knife.....

...or maybe he just uses the pen wrong? It’s hard to say!

My great aunt lived literally across Tift from Holy Family School. My great uncle (other side of my dad's family) Owned Hempling's Drug Store.

Pre-2000. Simple there were no actual Patriots fans then

That and it was the pre-technology boom.  Don't get me wrong technology can be great but there was something special about the simpler times that I miss

So lots of good replies and a lot of variety which is what I was looking for.

For me I have two defined "Good Old Days" eras...1) Childhood years filled with Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, backyard football, street hockey, watching Bills games with family, the relaxed atmosphere of elementary school and just hanging out with friends all the time.  2) Later high school through college years- trying to get laid, high school house parties, fake id's, going out drinking 3-5 nights a week, and once again just hanging out with friends all the time.  Two eras that I always look back on fondly and wish I could re-live knowing there's no going back now :(
