Of course.  Because consent is reactive, so when a woman consents it can only be in response to a man's initiative.  Ergo, by giving consent a woman is being exploited by toxic masculinity,

If Trump messed around with a porn star...............

isn't it a Trump-Melania and not a Trump getting impeached problem?

Even if Trump messed with a XXX star, who cares. If Obozo did the same thing, I wouldn't care either. So, this isn't a right-left thing to me.

Even Bill Clinton messing around with an intern was just a Bill-Hillary problem, until he lied about it.

Lewinsky was a shattering of his credibility, it wasn't the reason for impeachment....

A lawyer for Stormy Daniels hinted to NBC’s Todayshow Wednesday morning that the adult-film actress possibly possessed evidence that a “sexual relationship” between herself and President Trump occurred—and would be willing to return the $130,000 paid to her to nullify a nondisclosure agreement signed days before the 2016 election. When asked by host Savannah Guthrie if Daniels (the stage name for Stephanie Clifford) still had “photos, images, and text messages that verify [her] claim,” lawyer Michael Avenatti responded, “That’s a question that Ms. Daniels will have to ultimately answer... I do know the answer and I’m not at liberty to disclose that this morning.” He added, “We think it’s highly questionable” that the $130,000 paid to Daniels came from Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen’s personal fund. He said “there’s no question” that Trump knew about the payment “at the time,” and “there’s many additional facts and evidence that we have, and we think that’s gonna come to light.” Avenatti said he believed Trump failed to sign the agreement so that he could “claim deniability,” and Daniels “may ultimately return the money... and she’s prepared to do that.” Daniels filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking to free her from the “hush agreement.”

You can't impeach on the basis of a general "liar, liar, pants on fire" finding.  You need an actual, demonstrable, explicit crime.

Bill committed perjury under oath before a grand jury. That’s a crime and he was impeached for it.

being convicted by the Senate requires more than that and he wasn’t

Yes.  For a SPECIFIC lie.  Not for a general perception.

The liberal crowd loves to cling to the "Trump is a pathological liar" rhetoric.

Yeah, and Trump is so scared of Mueller that he said ON RECORD that he has no problem being questioned by Mueller.

But, continue on with your liberal talking points that ring on deaf ears.

He is a pathological liar.  There's countless statements and tweets to back that up.  It's that characteristic that led to Mueller even being hired when he gave differing accounts of the reason for firing Comey.  It's pry why his lawyers want him nowhere near Mueller.  Not that he's guilty of anything related to Russia, but Mueller could easily coax him into lying about something completely unrelated.

Again, he's not a liar, because "lying" implies consciously making a statement that has a negative relation to the truth.

And I don't think that's what he does.  He just spews nonsense that's totally unconnected to the truth in any manner.

If that’s really true (I don’t think it is), it would be even more serious—it would mean our pres is suffering from full blown psychosis.

EDIT:  unless you’re suggesting that Trump just spontaneously invents nonsense as in non-sequitors, just for kicks, then I think that’s somehow even more frightening. It’s like having Jonathan Winters as the leader of the free world. [shudder]

When he doesn't know what he's talking about he tends to do that, but one of the hallmark traits of a pathological liar is exaggerating their accomplishments or make up stories in order to impress people.  I would say Trump does that more than any other public figure I can think of.  Brian Williams included.

If this is true Trump is literally insane and needs to be impeached for sake of his own health.

hyuck yuck yuck .......

I don’t understand certain people in lockstep with the worship of liberal sided politicians or the extreme hate the same people have of conservatives.

Never will.

Leaders make decisions for what they think is best for the facts in real time, both sides can make mistakes and good decisions  and mostly safely get us through each problem.

Actually, being a pathological liar is evidence of full-blown psychosis.  Saying stupid **** like "tarriffs don't cause trade wars" isn't pathological lying, it's pathological idiocy.

Or, by way of analogy: Flat Earthers don't lie, they're just !@#$ing stupid.

Trump may be a lot of things but he's not stupid. He says things that sound stupid but there is a method to his madness. He keeps the MSM and the rest of the Left running from hissy fit statement to statement and not being able to focus on any one thing. All of their protests are falling on deaf ears. Also, his whole MO has always been to stake his positions out at the extreme end of things and then negotiate something less. He is what he is but in the over all picture he is actually putting forth great effort to do things and in many instances has succeeded. Don't fall for the opposition's noise.

Look, Trump may at times take negotiating stances as part of his plan.  I would agree with that.

It is also very obvious that he makes a lot of stupid statements with no plan past the period in that particular sentence.

This just isn't going away and is such a scandal on so many levels. If she got an abortion and Trump paid the hush money for that I love to see the pro-life hypocrites explain how they still support him, because they will. And this:

Quote

Trump’s legal future got murkier thanks to Stormy Daniels’s lawsuit. “First, this is Daniels alleging that Trump was personally involved — something the White House and [Trump’s personal lawyer Michael] Cohen have declined to confirm or deny. . . . And second, she alleges that the effort was geared toward aiding Trump’s election. That may seem like a given, because it happened just before Election Day, but as The Washington Post’s Philip Bump has reported, the payment is more legally problematic if it was clearly for this purpose.”

What he is doing is practicing brilliant politics.  He's taken a hostile and antagonistic media, and an opposition party that is in outright rebellion, and is making them dance to his tune, latching them on to whatever story he deems desirable, and flash-changing narratives so fast that the media can't keep up, generating such over the top reactions that middle America is completely tuning them out.

It's been incredible to watch.

Which says a lot about where our democracy is at this point

Quote

The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.” (Benjamin Franklin)
