Real McClappy
He def will not be fired. He made a ton of bad decisions today though that cost his club a W.
y2zipper
Tomlin and McCarthy are the biggest underachievers in the league, but Tomlin has big Ben so he won't get fired.

Shaw66
There are a lot of things that go into coaching. I think Tomlin has a lot of them. He certainly seems to have the respect of his players. They'll follow him anywhere. But I've always thought he as a lousy sideline coach. Showed it again today. The onside kick was clearly the wrong call. And when he got to the five he should have kicked the field goal.
boyst
Tomlin is a good coach in regard to holding the ship together. Until this year. He has cracked. His bull **** with speaking out against Villeneuva was cowardly. Tomlin needs to get his face slapped so hard for that it knocks the black off his ass. I digress on that specifically but that's when I knew they'd never succeed as much as they should with the talent. 1

Jasovon
It's a tough one because he's won you a superbowl but i think when Ben goes he goes, this could be the end of the Steelers as we know them with Ben retiring, OC leaving and Tomlin leaving too. Alaska Darin
The STEELERS won't fire him but they should. He's making the same mistakes he's been making his entire career. Not kicking the FG with 47 seconds left is indefensible. That decision alone cost them any chance of winning the game.
BuffaloBillyG
No. But they should show Haley the door.

Chicken Boo
No more than Mike McCarthy. Both are head coaches of underachieving teams.

Ennjay
I see we have a difference of opinions on this topic. BTW, personally I'm not sure what I'd do. Like I said, he's not bad -- but he makes you wonder. I thought it would be a decent discussion topic. Edited January 14, 2018 by Ennjay
OldTimer1960
I would not fire Tomlinson. They are consistently competitive- that is what we want, right?

Thrivefourfive
No, Tomlin stays for as long as things aren't teetering towards disaster. What they need are civil relationships between OC/QB/WR, and a new DC that realizes JAX will run the ball all game long.
