Time to give it up for Frazier and dem boys.

Its amazing they dragged this team into the playoffs with no pass rush and no offense.

3 cheers for the genius who brought in Poyer and Hyde.        Wish Aaron Williams got to stay to be a part of this.

Probably 2 DTs with the impending retirement of KW

Tredavious was much better than expected.

I thought he was gonna have big problems with speed guys after watching Emmanuel Sanders lose him a few times.

Next draft is beyond interesting, can’t wait to see how it plays out.   With the solid picks of tre, dion, and milano we might be going somewhere if they land a decent qb.

My point was that KW’s play is not what it once was.  It’s unusual to have two elite DT’s on one team (yes the Bills had this under Schwartz because Dareus played at a high level for that season).  Maybe we will get lucky and strike gold on two but I’ll take one for sure.

Could we elaborate on what ranking you are talking about. Becuz they aren’t ranked well in a majority of defensive rankings so I’m assuming you are nit picking a stat to try and make an awful point.

Don’t need Tyrod lovers to get all huffy up in here

go to nfl.com.     Click on offense, then defense.         Offense comes in at 302 ypg for 29th.         Defense ranked 7th.

29th for your boy TT. Which, like i stated in your other post, is not good.

Hughes has one pass rush move this year, and its getting upfield fast, tackles are used to this from film study and is a large reason he has not produced the sack numbers (it IS forcing QBs to step up into the pocket, which if we had great DTs we could be getting more pressure).

I wish we would could somehow end up with Roquan Smith from Georgia, but he will be long gone by the 20s

Hughes would have been much better with interior help

He would but I think we could be dominate again if we had someone else from the other end spot collapse the pocket.

I think a DT and a pass rushing specialist would help our pressure immensely.

A true, fast MLB would give us help in run support and coverage.

This could be a top 10 defense in PPG next year.

Not quite.

As much as I love the structure of this defense and our secondary, we need 4-5 new players on our front 7.   We BADLY need a DE that can get pass pressure to go along with Hughes.  We will need 2 DT's, (K. Williams won't be around too much longer).   And from my perspective, we need 2 more LB's, to replace P. Brown and L. Alexander.

I expect a major overhaul of our front 7 next year.

Exactly. I think a DE as well, but either way, they are close to becoming a great defence

Sanders didn't lose him because of speed, he lost him because he was caught ball watching.

I am not suggesting that there will not be replacements.  Those you have listed will likely be replaced with equal talent or maybe slightly better talent through mid level FA pickups.  An elite LB and DT, probably through the draft, will make this D exceptional.

There will for sure be an overhaul in the front 7, but hard to imagine it will be worse than this year

I hope Detroit doesn't re-sign Ziggy Ansah, I think he'd be a great addition to our front 7.    Get somebody like him and another quality FA DT, draft a DT and couple LB's and now we are in business.

Lol whose picking stats to make a point now ?

They have them ranked 7th in overall defense by some metric.   I’m not 100% sure what the formula is they use.

Go Bills.

Are you this dense?!?! You just said YPG!!!!!

Go and look at your post. You said the bills offense was getting 301 ypg to be ranked 29th and then said the bills d is 7th

i was literally going off what you said. Wow dude.

Gonna quote this again so you see how ridiculous you are being. You clearly use YPG for the offense and then say the defense is 7th.

Explain to me where I wa nit picking stats?

Do you understand how stupid it is to use one stat for the offense but a completely different one for the defense. It proves my point that you were doing what I said you were. Nit picking stats to try and prove a good point.

Why in in gods name would somebody reference the bills are ranked 29th in yds and then compare it in the next sentence with a completely different ranking for the defense?

2 reasons.

A) their really dumb and don’t get his enormously idiot that is.

B)they have an agenda and are picking and choosing stats to prove a weak point.

Here you go,  read it and make your own assumptions.    I called you a nitpicker because you came in guns blazing about cherry picked stats.

My agenda is using numbers provided by the national football leagues official website?

You were in yards per game for the offense and I have no clue what that other stat is for the defense but let’s try and compare the same stats for each side no matter what we do please.

Or not. Whatever.

Agreed, this is deceptive. You pick one stat and measure or you clearly state what stats you are grading on. And to make it even better, you get combative when someone points out what you are doing. #foxnewsdatametrics

Honestly and i know i'm not the only one, but i never would have thought that we would make it into the playoffs with this roster...........on paper, it kind of looks like acquisitions purchased at a flea market and yard sale.

I know our roster still has a long way to go, but it looks like we've got a pretty solid foundation.
