....we got the "W" and DROPPED to 27 from 26.....maybe a close loss this week moves us up to 19....go figure..............

There's no one who actually still works for ESPN left.

Jemele Hill is still there.

Of course, I had no idea who she was until her white supremacy rant last week, but I'm told after her rant she jumped up four spots in the ESPN Talking Heads Power Rankings, putting her two ahead of John Clayton, who was on a bi last week.

ROTFLMAO!!! "PFFELO is an iterative system that updates each team’s rating after each game based on two things: how well they played against their opponent and how well they were expected to play against their opponent." It's obviously not whether you kicked your opponent's arse or got handed your own or how great or awful you looked in either earning either result but how you played compared to how you were expected to play. TOO.STUPID.TO.BE.TRUE.

I kind of thought so too. I seen the Bills at 16 and I was like Whaaaaa??!?!!?!?!!! Then I looked at the teams below us and right now I could probably only argue that 2 or 3 of them are better. So, its really not all that bad.

clayton is history, or so I thought. hell, I couldn't tell you the last time I watched an espn broadcast aside from a football game.

unless you're referring to radio? that is his gig now, which I don't listen to either.

  • 2 weeks later...

How do you...?

How do you...?

Wait...

How do you beat the Polls Week 4 Number 1 team in the rankings and not move up?

How do you step back as a reviewer of this poll, see that only one team in the NFL has beaten half of your current top 4, and stick that 3-1 team in the middle of the pack?!
