Folks, this is a classic example of a rhetorical device known as a “false choice” or a “false dichotomy”. There is no guarantee that failing to make the playoffs (or tanking) means we will draft a franchise QB, just as making the playoffs does not mean we will not draft one, especially with our Chiefs Pick becoming more valuable every week. I heard teams can trade up in the draft if they so choose by giving up a few picks. How about we compromise pull an Eagles move. Look at anecdotal evidence in the NFL man. They also drafted him at 11. The best QB of the 2004 draft was the third QB drafted and drafted at 11. As always, it's not about why new draft but who are you draft. We aren't ahead of the Chargers who beat us and the Titans who have a better record than us. The Ravens have a better conference record than us.
