I was just looking at the possibility of him stepping in, if need be, down the road. I hate carrying 3 on the roster, but we might have to. Do you anyone out there that might come in for the last game? Maybe a guy that could stick around on the PS if we drop down to 2 QBs on the roster. Watching the Bills carry three QBs and a kick specialist the past few seasons took at least 5 years off my lifespan. If you're bringing in a street FA who will be there for a week, you'd have him in this morning for practice. Don't they only have one practice left before Detroit? If Beane and McD know a few things: That 1) Thomas is making the team at TE3, that they were good with Peterman at QB2 and were going to release Yates and only keep two active QBs and 3) all but know TT will be back 100% by opener then I think it's a good idea.
