They should just bring in a guy for the week to get them through Thursday's game.

Oh, of course. I was just looking at the possibility of him stepping in, if need be, down the road. I hate carrying 3 on the roster, but we might have to. Do you anyone out there that might come in for the last game? Maybe a guy that could stick around on the PS if we drop down to 2 QBs on the roster.

I could see carrying just two QBs on the 53 with one on the PS. Thomas could be the emergency QB assuming he makes the team and is active on game days.

That is what I hope for. Watching the Bills carry three QBs and a kick specialist the past few seasons took at least 5 years off my lifespan. Thomas should make the team, but as a low level contributor it would be wise to give him additional roles.

Bring in Kaepernick and expose how awful and racist the Bills fanbase is once and for all

Such a stupid comment. Yes, we don't root for any black players. First off, the Kaepernick issue is not race related, most who dislike him would be opposed to a white player who acted this way as well. Secondly many of Bills fans favorite players of all time (Smith,Reed,Thurman, Fred Jackson etc etc) are black. Awful and racist? Go troll somewhere else.

I thought Kap was white.

He has two white moms.

My guess is they're working on some kind of trade or looking at a longer term option (maybe Kaep). If you're bringing in a street FA who will be there for a week, you'd have him in this morning for practice. Don't they only have one practice left before Detroit?

No practice today. It's an off day.

That's what I was thinking. If Beane and McD know a few things: That 1) Thomas is making the team at TE3, that they were good with Peterman at QB2 and were going to release Yates and only keep two active QBs and 3) all but know TT will be back 100% by opener then I think it's a good idea. Even if they bring in a # 4 guy to play some Thursday and not risk Peterman hurt.

This sucks for WRs on the bubble hoping to make an impression the last preseason game. If they do sit Peterman and go with a temp QB just for the game the number of catchable passes is likely to be even lower than usual
