BuzzFeed’s about to blow the lid off the Iran protests, y’all. Can you handle this mega-scoop?

An old image! Can you believe it?

If you click the article, you learn that the "old" photo is of women's rights protesters in Iran taken December 27

“There is no link between the photo and the protests. She made her lonely protest just a day before the uprising,” she said over the phone from New York. “We don’t know where she is but she has become an iconic picture of the Iran protests.”

The day before the uprising? Well, then, we’d better stop spreading that photo around. We wouldn’t want to trick people with something so old.

.

Watching so many in the media deny what's happening, or downplay to the point of outright lying about it, is an amazing demonstration of what happens when people have too much invested in a certain narrative. They were SO invested in the Iranian deal working that they refuse to see this moment for what it truly is.

It's amazing to witness.

Isn't this a bit like saying that Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her seat happened the day before the civil rights movement began?

Blaming the media for Trump being unfit for office, any office, let alone the Presidency is sad and just shows that the right wing really elected one of their own, an ignorant, childish, illiterate bore. Good job Conservatives.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/wolff-trump-is-proving-the-point-of-the-book

In his first interview about his bombshell exposé about the White House, journalist Michael Wolff stood by his reporting and said President Trump’s behavior in the wake of three explosive excerpts is “proving the point of the book.” Wolff wrote that Trump is increasingly repeating stories, cannot recognize old friends, and is viewed by his closest allies as “incapable of functioning in his job.” Trump and his team responded by tearing down former top strategist Steve Bannon and sending a cease-and-desist letter to Wolff and his publisher. “Not only is he helping me sell books, but he’s proving the point of the book,” Wolff said on NBC’s Today on Friday. “This man does not read. Does not listen. He’s like a pinball, just shooting off the sides.” He added, “They all say he is like a child.”

Those of you who support Trump should be less concerned with the media portrayal and more concerned with how history will remember you for putting that man in office. He’s undeniably the most unqualified president of all time ?????

They will just blame Hillary. Seriously. They won't feel a damn thing, they are just a bunch of children like him

How? Like, how? This “banner year” is going to lead to slaughter at the mid terms and I can only think of the socialism this country is going to ignorantly embrace in 2020 to counter dodgy Don.

This is has not been a banner year. And the inevitable clap back that will be the midterms and 2020 is going to be bad.

What kills me is how they’re all convinced their guy is outfoxing everybody. When there’s no evidence to support this they make stuff up. It’s amazing.

People are going to take one look at their 401k's and immediately strike out against Trump. They are going to moan and groan about our country's newfound energy independence. They'll probably even look for ways to give back their tax cuts. They might even curse Trump because jobs are again plentiful and they can't hide from work anymore. This country is certainly headed to hell in a handbasket, all because of Trump.

Evidence?!? Lol, my theory has been that they act on how he says things, not what he says. He's angry, they get angry. He is happy, they know to be happy about something. And the rest of the normal Republicans are terrified of him. Crazy times we live in

Ha ha, well, Trump supporters almost did all that with health care. Those poor Trump bots were the ones that benefited from Obamacare, yet they screwed till they were blue in face to gut it, till they came to the edge and looked down ;) And the fine economy Obama left us in.

Oh?

I have investments — can you write them a letter telling them that Trump is president so that they can grow faster? That’d be GREAT.

“Energy independence?” What? ? I’m not even getting into that one.

Jobs are are more plentiful...jobs were on an upswing during Obama’s term and if you’re givig Trump credit for the current economy you’re seperated from reality because he hasn’t been an office long enough to sway it one way or the other. I’m pessimistic that his tax bill will increase jobs or wages because this sort of thing hasn’t worked in the past but I’m willing to see the results before I pass verdict.

The country isnt isn’t heading to hell just yet but increasing the debt surely will continue it on its way.

I guess it was just a coincidence that Obama's economic policies took 8 summers of recovery to finally start to work. Maybe it was Obama's regulations that were the impetus for a booming economy. Then again it could have been Nancy Pelosi's claim that unemployment benefits needed to be extended so that we could keep unemployment down.
