I once interviewed a manager of mine whose mistake cost entire team job and he went on to new management job in company; when I saw he was on list of interviewees I asked to be last interviewers and asked my fellow interviewers to really give him the runaround and tell him final interviewer would make decision. Loved telling him he spent entire application / interview cycle wasting his time.

They had him do a brain dump and took notes to give to Hack-at-it. Sorta like an OC seminar.
