Letting Awan off with NOTHING at the same time Hillary starts yapping tells you the status of the war.  The good guys, as few of them as there are and as hard as they fought, lost.

Re-read his deal. Especially page 10.

He's only "off" in terms of District of Columbia - other AG's and states can still bring charges. Remember who's lurking in the wings, far outside of the District of Columbia.

And remember that DC is not a state.

The second Comey was appointed to "investigate" Hillary I knew and wrote that she would be protected.  They all said he was above reproach but just looking at him it was easy to see he is a lapdog.

Awan got mortgage fraud or some crap for stealing all of that information?  And now Hillary is starting her campaign?  Page 10 my ass.

It is good that some details were exposed for people willing to look at the corruption and the human trafficking stuff is as well, but the bad guys are sealing up the exposures and getting back to business.

I understand that viewpoint and expectation. As I've said from the beginning, this is the rational expectation to hold based on history.

Read the deal again. Remember what DC is legally speaking. Remember what Sessions and Huber are doing.

Then remember there are tens of thousands of sealed indictments that have been piling up since Huber began his work in total secrecy.

It's a new world. Things are being timed for Novemember (which I disagree with but seems to be the plan).

To add to the above - look at the self immolation going on within the far left of the party. The left is running on a platform of raising taxes and abolishing ICE. That would have been the premise of an SNL sketch a few years ago, now it's what the presumed front runner (Harris) is running on. You have a herd of hippos harassing Cocaine Mitch, !@#$s stealing kid's hats, and crazy ladies who escaped a cannibal holocaust climbing the statue of liberty and saying with a straight face TRUMP SUPPORTERS ARE THE PROBLEM

November - with or without indictments - is going to be a slaughter for the left. They've done it to themselves. Trump has driven them crazy to the point of comedy.

Lock in the House and Senate in November, and watch how fast things start to happen.

the thing about sealed indictments, is that you don't really know what is there. for all we know, it could simply be a blank sheet of paper (as things of this nature often are). most will get tossed.

also, i have no faith whatsoever that the repugnicans will do anything at all here. kabuki theater is the order of the day. they really don't want to persecute the other wing of the bird of prey.

remember, bread and circuses.....

Correct. They are sealed, they could be search warrants, they could be indictments. What's notable is the increase (which began, coincidentally, when Huber was hired) is unprecedented. Is it just a sign that the DOJ is doing it's job and fighting crime/gangs/smuggling (and issuing dozens and dozens of indictments, search warrants, magistrate orders et al in the course of their investigations)? Could be. But even that wouldn't explain the large jump in numbers completely.

As to your last point, 4mer agrees with that statement as would I three years ago. But the republican party is as fractured as the left. Trump isn't a republican. He's an outsider not beholden to this system - which is why he was chosen to run by (imo) military intelligence officers who wanted to BREAK this system.

I have a hunch you're going to be pleasantly surprised by this time next year.

i like being pleasantly surprised. i hope your right, DR. however, until something actually does happen, it aint happening. perhaps i am just jaded because of all the skullduggery that has gone on unassailed in the recent past.

This feels like it fits nicely as a cap to the conversation this morning:

oh, i am all for building a new system. as i have said in other posts, build another system and have it ready to go so when the broken one crumbles under it's own weight, the solution will already be in place. step outside of the system, let them rule themselves.

what would happen if they held an election and noone showed up....

Wait, I thought Trump was planted by the Clinton campaign to ensure Hiliary's victory.  I read it somewhere on the internet so it must be true.

What is actually going on now:

FBI is refusing to show congress what they need to see.  Congress is willingly going along with what should be an outrage.

The Dems and their cohorts in the press are spinning like crazy to keep focus on the ridiculous Russia and porno stuff, not to ultimately do anything about it, because they know it is fake, but to buy time.

The IG and any possibly honest brokers in this process are tied up in red tape strong enough to hold down every dinosaur in Jurrasic World.

The few Republicans whose goal is actually to get to the truth are being slandered or are about to be.

The few crazy Dems urging protests in restaurants and homes will fizzle out in the next few weeks.

The majority of Republicans are behind the scenes with the majority of Democrats hammering out who gets what and how much.  You know what nobody among the real culprits will actually get: punished.  If this whole thing was ever going to work it would be done already.

Boris Johnson quits to add to pressure on May over Brexit

I don't know if President Trump has a horseshoe up his butt or what, but karma seems to come quickly to those who f*^@ with him.  May is screeeeeewed for trying to do a soft BrexIt. These globalists still have not figured out that the "little people" don't want unfettered "immigration" that causes higher crime, higher taxes, and lower standards of living for all.

Trump's visit should be er, interesting. Will he be chatting with a new Prime Minister? We shall soon see.

This is a big developing story...

Will have a lot to say about it.

More... Note the name:

Weissmann...

Most big stuff has gone down when POTUS is out of DC. He leaves for a week tonight. Just before Flynn's hearing, Strzok's open testimony... likely means this is going to be a big week.

How did they have the code to begin with?

One of MANY important questions people should be asking... or you know, REPORTERS should be asking.

Circular reporting used to validate a circular investigation used to attempt a palace coup.

****************************

Another big story that no one is paying attention to (yet):

Not just Hezbollah, but the Taliban. Both were aided by Obama for political reasons.

(same thread)

Those thinking Obama was doing all he could for this country, and not his true masters, should rethink that position. The evidence is becoming overwhelming that he was not only an unfit POTUS, but one who sold out the safety and security of this country for his own gain.

Obama used the IRS to target American conservatives who were politically opposed to him - while CALLING OFF THE DOJ, FBI, AND IC from pursuing Taliban drug traffickers and Hezbollah drug/human smugglers operating inside the United States.

Are we  really bringing back the word "fink" to our accepted vocabulary, Fonzi?

It's the perfect word for someone who betrayed an important part of journalism, especially over fear of a fake news item
