They are lucky Ohio state won that year. Most often then the top two teams would end up in the championship game, but still gives two more teams a shot. That was so underwhelming. Its beginning to look like college footbal should have stayed with the the BCS format. That was so underwhelming. What happens is northern teams are built to play in bad weather and the south has home field advantage in the championship games. Bills went through it drafting Roscoe, McGahee from the U and they fell apart. What they need is a 64 team playoff. Top 4 get a pass, everyone else starts off in overtime rules. Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Big House and Yankee Stadium are the venues on New Years Day. It won't work because college administrators are senile corrupt monsters.
