THIS REALLY ISNT THAT HARD

People are reading this wrong. He said it wasn't fair to ask Tyrod to do it, after Lynn took over, because it wasn't really part of the offense and wasn't worked on over the offseason. He was saying that the offense was designed to use TT's mobility and work the boundaries, and it wouldn't be fair to change it midseason

He brought it up as something he'd like to work with Tyrod on over the offseason. Would require different footwork, reads and etc...

Maybe "critical" was too strong. He acknowledged that Taylor misses things and seems to be reluctant to throw in the middle, then added what you state. Sounded excited to work with him on improving this area in the off-season. He made it sound correctable with work, where some here think it's a fatal flaw that can't be corrected.

And don't you think if they wanted him back they wouldn't be bubble wrapping the guy to ensure the contract doesn't get picked up?

Not necessarily. There is nothing to be gained for the franchise by winning Sunday. Except a lower draft position and the possibility of an injury to Taylor. While an injury is not likely , it would leave the Bills on the hook for the option and possibly still in need of a QB that is healthy . Any GM starting Taylor in this situation should be fired on the spot. It's a unique situation and Tyrod will get over it if the Bills decide he's the guy.

Heres whats gonna happen. Lynns gonna be the head coach. Tyrods gonna be the QB. Hopefully Sammys return to full time health allows the offense to be seventh or better in points per game. And we bring in a d coordinator who runs a 4-3 and puts our defense in the top ten. Problem solved. No need to overthink this.

Ah yes...The never-ending saga of the easy BAIT that springs the TRAP we seem to find ourselves in every three years....

We can't settle for just ANY old coach... We should never settle for just an "adequate" QB.... LAZY WHALEY is gonna have to do his homework to turn this around.... If it's too much of a challenge, get someone in here that's prepared to meet it.

Do your damn homework, Whaley!

I heard he just opens draft books and throws darts to determine who to pick.

With the weapons and line on Offense, a competent quarterback will win.

There is so much talent on this team. Yes they need safety help and RT help.

I am for Lynn as HC, if Whaley likes it. Get a good DC and TT or a Kyle Orton type QB, this team wins 10 games.

Between Kujo, Henderson, and Glenn, they need to figure out how to get the RT position taken care of.

This is what makes the most sense and is probably the most logical course of action. However, a more likely scenario is Brandon and or Whaley finding a way to !@#$ this up too.

If Lynn was smart if he is named HC he brings back Pettine as D.C. They worked together for 3 years in NY. Him running offense and a known commodity that made our D top 5 would pump instant credibility into the franchise and get fans excited again. Needless to say it would also help sell tickets.

I think the Bills fans would change their tune as in paper we would have proven strength on both sides of the ball.

I also believe he names Chris Palmer OC. He had had experience as OC and HC and had been Lynns right hand man through all of this.

Still not sure Lynn can run a franchise as HC with so little experience. But with respected former Coordinators and HC by his side they can assist him as he learns the ropes.

Once again, WTF with the Pettine love? Why the conviction that Pettine could make our D top 5? I posted elsewhere his results 2011-2012 in NY, 2013 in B'lo, and 2014-2015 in Cleveland. Hint: the run D stunk up the joint.

IMHO, if Lynn is a worthy HC hire, he will have a plan for his assistants that does not continue the B'lo as former NYJ coach-haven

I would move Glen to RT and CK to LT. Makes line way better, saves money, and a top draft pick. And I wouldn't over pay for Woods. Last game proved if we are healthy we will be good on offence without a high price WR2. Gilmore is a must though, if a deal can't be done use the Tag. First pickshould be a safety. Value should Match our need in the first. And I think if we stay healthy we will be a playoff team
