No more "probable" on NFL injury reports

The only reason I think it matters is for fantasy leagues. If a player is "in" but is coming back from some sort of injury that will limit his playing ability/time then it will screw up most peoples teams.

Pretty much the same thing that happened with Stevie. Always had a groin injury and was listed as probable but had some good and bad games.

I'm not sure "probable" or "questionable" is all that helpful

They should just have "Out" and "In". That's all that matters as the rest of it is made up nonsense.

Yup. "Probable" has come to mean 99% and therefore meaningless.

So I guess Tom Brady will have to be listed as Questionable every week this year.

Last year 95% percent of players listed as probable played in their respective games. The problem with removing the probable designation is now some teams like NE will just designate players as questionable. That will cloud judgements for betting purposes and fantasy players, I'm not sure why they felt the need to change it.
