Is Lawson hurt??

billsfanaticsBREAKING: Per Source, there is a NEW report that Shaq Lawson has recently re-aggravated a shoulder injury at practice and will have to undergo shoulder surgery this offseason. This report has not yet been verified by the Buffalo Bills. We treat this information as a rumor and are unsure ourselves, more to come.

Was it the same source who claimed he was going to have to have surgery due injury as freshman with Bills and Lawson saying there is no need for surgery? It is pretty easy these days to make up BS and get coverage of it.

Call me when pat Moran verifies this, with an oath on the life of his daughter. Otherwise, this seems suspicious.

I believe Shaq's shoulder surgeon was seen at the airport driving Ralph's Ford Escort, and has a dinner reservation at Tempo tonight.

Suspicious? I call it a near certainty.

eMoulds said he "expects Lawson to miss significant time" and "as far as I know he has not had issues off the field."

That pretty much leaves medical.

EXCEPT unless he was doing drugs ON the field!

The report/source is this board? Really?

Apparently. We just don't know how powerful we are. Queue the Sully article tomorrow: "Bills Add to First Round Busts with Latest... Lawson".

It will be a can't-miss read.

I posted before the draft that the local sports radio station here in Clemson said that it was a given that he will need shoulder surgery. The radio announcers had close ties to the team and said that he was downgraded to a second rounder at best by many teams. If this is true, The Bills' doctors screwed up by clearing him before the draft.

Unless they didn't, and this was just a case of reckless drafting of a player with known medical issues. Edited by mannc

the question was never whether he needed surgery. It was when. He can play with the brace. As you know,he's never missed a game because of it. His shoulder condition makes him more susceptible to tearing his labrum. If he had surgery, he will no longer need to use the brace. Schefter had reported he would be able to play the season and have it next offseason. If he has it now, the Bills probably decided to just get it out of the way so he doesn't need the brace and won't need to worry about him lasting the season.

It may cost him some time early on, but the team may have decided it is the right thing to do overall and for long term. We will see.

So you do have the medical report?

what do you think, wise guy? My point is that, assuming the report of a badly injured shoulder is correct, we don't know if the doctors screwed up or if the front office decided to roll the dice anyway.

Or it was a case of "when he needs it, he needs it" and it won't cause him to miss much time.

Lots and lots of speculation going on around here without a shred of "real" evidence.

I personally think we should take that brama bull out back and put him out of his misery before he has a chance to disaapoint us?

Report from whom? Specifics?

Is it the report from Adam S. your hanging your hat on or the message board drop from Emoulds that your hanging your hat on?
