CardinalScotts
i fail to see the relationship of the wonderlic test to football smart players
Manther
Ray Lewis got a 13 on the Wonderlic and didn't have a problem owning that defense. I think the Wonderlic does lend some insight into a player. But it's not a true representation of whether a player can or can't pick up a playbook.Agreed and agreed. 3rdand12
i fail to see the relationship of the wonderlic test to football smart players is that because you scored poorly on the wonderlick too?
The Adam
i fail to see the relationship of the wonderlic test to football smart players In ten years it will be gone. We are moving toward the sports sciences.

Jkgobills
I took a sample wonderlic online once. I was a bit drunk, took test on my iPhone, and I scored a 48/50. But I can't tackle a single player in the NFL.
ndirish1978
I mean he was the leader of a national championship defense. Maybe he can't balance a checkbook but I think he's pretty smart at football.
Nitro
If he can diagnose a play, attack and make the tackle or knock down a pass, that is good enough for me. You are not asking him to represent the Bills on Jeopardy.

BobbyC81
Gotta have both a thumper and a guy who can get into coverage in today's league. 2 down players are just too easily isolated and exposed by schemes and no huddle offenses today. GO BILLS!!! That's right. That's what teams were doing to Brandon Spikes when we had him.
LeGOATski
That's right. That's what teams were doing to Brandon Spikes when we had him. Well he's faster and a more fluid mover than Spikes, from what I've seen. Should be a little less vulnerable. didn't sound dumb talking to murph He's a great interviewer. I think he'll be fine. The Bills have gotten great value on all their picks so far. I'm surprised.
