AP Report: Bills Will Release Mario After the Season

Exactly right. He is a whiner and a quitter. He quit his team, fans and coach. Professional? Yeah right. I thought he was a reach when we signed and overpaid him. A couple good years had me convinced otherwise. Now, well I never hope for a BB to get hurt, but I can't help myself. I truly hate the guy. He'll likely have a good year with whoever he signs with, but you can't change the fact he is an overpaid prima donna ( a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team) who will revert in due course and be a weight around the neck of his next team. Good riddance.

I agree. Everyone knows pass rushers in their prime are over priced - and are pretty easy to find on the cheap or you could just draft one. Hell teams hardly even pass anymore so it's really not even a premium position anymore. I mean 9 NFL players have 10 sacks or more - big deal Mario - consider me unimpressed.

you lost me at "teams hardly even pass anymore" as the NFL continues to set records almost every year for pass attempts...

I just watched Mario Williams stand there and not even engage the offensive lineman on a run play.

If he's doing that and not getting chewed out, that kinda points to scheme.

That being said, Mario doesn't suit that scheme for his asking price, so cutting him is the best choice.
