@JeremyWGR: Word is the Patriots aren't doing any ESPN interviews for tonight because of Deflategate. #ThePatriotWay

How the hell is it ESPN's fault the Colts made a report to the NFL, who investigated? Are they upset because someone who is paid to talk about sports had the temerity to actually criticize the anointed ones rather than just showering them with praise?

This is in response to the Outside the Lines story that said the Pats have cheated for years and in ways they haven't been caught yet. Stuff we already know.

Cue the apologists and nut hangers defending the Pats. "All they do is win." But they cheat. "They're so good, they don't need to cheat." And yet they do.

People are so in awe of this team but look past all the red flags that call into question their greatness.

And they protest when ESPN doesn't sweep it far enough under the rug. And their owner also partially owns a football gambling site. Integrity much? Makes Pete Rose look like Grandma at bingo on Saturday night.

And their owner tried desperately to get his lap dog Bon Jersey as the owner of a divisional rival and move them out of the country......he got outwitted by Ralph. THAT is the story ESPN should do.

Got Link? If this is true he should not be an owner.

Who is pulling the strings here, I wonder - on not doing any interviews. Kraft? BB seems like he wouldn't care. Or just players deciding on their own?

Good question... Fair to think Belicheck wouldn't have backed this, but we only know the part of his personality that he shows us. I don't think Kraft would have done it, either, maps it could expose the franchise to fines, if seen to be systemic, not just a Marshawn Lynch not cooperating and therefore gets individually fined. I think it had to be a wealthy member of the roster, who could easily afford to potentially pay 53 players' fines, and who also has a history of being a whiney little baby who cries if he is treated any way other than as a football god... Do we know anybody that meets that description?
