Kelly the Dog
I wonder if some part of Rex is kinda sad that it had to be a foot.
KD in CA
They'll sign some guy from the CFL and he'll pick up 1,000 yards before the playoffs, then he'll explode! (#crushbrady) And the Bills will give him 8 yards of cushion all night in his first start.

Coastie
I won't wish for him to be hurt... ...and I certainly won't feel bad that he is. Could not agree more (well except I had him on one of my DraftKings teams, but it was worth losing a few bucks to see him in civvies next week). cantankerous
If it is fractured it's likely the base of the 5th metatarsal, which hopefully is displaced enough to require an open reduction internal fixation. No, I don't feel bad for him.
YoloinOhio
@diannaESPN: Edelman out with broken foot, Dion Lewis out for the season . Edelman/Lewis accounting for nearly 40% of the Patriots receptions this year.

Kelly the Dog
Bills fans should have no sympathy whatsoever for injuries to other teams' players, especially their valuable ones.

cantankerous
Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that Edelman has broken the fifth metatarsal in his left foot. Kelly the Dog
What's the recovery time on that? How soon will be be back to 100%? The reports from the Schefter types are they are hoping he will be back for the playoffs. Like 8-9 weeks. But the Pats would have to keep him on the active roster that entire time and have one less guy. It would be worth it in the playoffs but will definitely hurt before that. It easily could be the difference between the AFC championship game being away instead of home.
