Bills Fan since '64
http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Top-10-reasons-Bills-Packers-is-the-biggest-home-game-in-years/8550ab5d-a91a-49c8-94ee-2267825a7ed9 This article really ticked me off. The only football-related reason that this game is "the biggest home game in years" (the third one this season by my count) is because by losing key game after key game, we up the ante on the next game. Instead of being in the driver's seat for a playoff birth, we have yet another do or die game! And if we win, you can tell your grandchildren that YOU WERE THERE when the Bills won their 8th game of the season! Does Buffalobills.com think we haven't noticed? Alex Van Pelt will be in the house! Next it might be Vince Faragamo!
Pondslider
Biggest home game since Vince Young ran all over the JP Losman Bills? http://www.realfootball365.com/articles/bills/4594
maddenboy
http://www.buffalobi...ee-2267825a7ed9 a playoff birth, Yes. Yes we are. http://www.merriam-w...ictionary/berth --- And by the way, what do you expect from the local propaganda machine? KDIGGZ
here's a pathetic stat for you... since the last time we were in the playoffs, the Packers have made the postseason 10 times, won their division 7 times, and won a Superbowl! this year will make 11 postseason's for them and meanwhile we are just praying to make a wild card some day. we really set the bar high here
Nanker
Think of it this way: The Bills are already in the Playoffs. Lose, and they're done - albeit they get to play two more relatively meaningless games.

That all changes with Pegula. Hang in there. The refs/weather/playing 9 of the 13 top defenses/the refs/the league schedule makers fault the last 15 years. Not to mention the NFL conspiracy designed to keep small market teams down. Like for example Buffalo and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Oh wait.

Fadingpain
when you have been eliminated in October most years to still be alive in December is showing improvement. This is a cry baby thread Depends on how you look at it. One on hand, we are trending upward for the reason you mention. On the other hand, we will miss the playoffs yet again, which suggests nothing of importance has changed. We need a QB!
apuszczalowski
You nicely outline the difference between a well-run, quality organization and a crap one. That all changes with Pegula. Hang in there. And you know this how? By the Bang up job he has done with the Sabres? Theres a difference between building in Hockey and building in football. Hockey has the luxury of being able to take a few years to rebuild and tell your fan base "Its ok, we have talent coming up through the minors" In Football they don't have that luxury, also the sheep over at the arena are being led to believe all the crap they have seen up til now will be all worth it cause McDavid (and then it became McDavid/Eichel) will be picked up to save the franchise and have them swimming in cups!
