boyst
I'd cut Brown some slack, classic over pursue- probably too geeked up. Did Lawson play ? yes and I anticipate he will fight for time at DE. With a creative DC you'll have Lawson going in and pulling up to cover passes with Spikes blitzing
NickelCity
I'd expect a few more blitzes against the phish

billykaykay
I miss Kiko... Kiko covers backs on swing passes better than anyone that I have seen.

Dr. Fong
I thought Brown looked OK for someone playing in his first NFL game. Give him time. Not everyone is Kiko Alonso.
YoloinOhio
If you should still have any preseason footage on DVR, I encourage you to review the first quarter of it. Bradham was borderline dominant this preseason, and was in on many more plays than I had ever seen from him in years past. I think the bell has finally gone off for him at this level, and I predict he will be the guy who leads us in tackles most games. he is a good fit for Schwartz D Any word on Rivers? groin, day to day

TXBILLSFAN
Bradham will certainly be an upgrade over Brown, but with Rivers injury, we might have to have more growing pains next week. Schmidt had a good game, nice pickup. I didn't like that they kept Gay. Having 2 kickers is a luxury Bills can't afford with their roster, they should've kept Smith or signed another LB. BTW, as point of reference, Bills are the ONLY NFL team with 2 kickers.

But as a KO specialist, his results were stellar the first game and warrant keeping him as long as he produces.

K-9
I'm willing to cut P Brown some slack, but at this stage of his career, I would have expected him to be well-versed in the fundamentals of tackling. He can't break a guy down for crap based on what I saw yesterday. GO BILLS!!!
HankBulloughMellencamp
he is a good an incredible fit for Schwartz D (fixed) The thing that has me excited is that he has been the leader of a defense at a high level before, making calls, leading the team in tackles, etc. It's one thing to hope to develop into someone who can do that, but it's quite another to have experience and a knack for being able to do it. The classic "I think I can, I think I can" choo-choo candidate versus the guy with the solid credentials. So we've got that going for us, which is nice. I told my son that i would not be too hard on him. Rookie stuff . I think even Sunday with his painful struggles ,he showed alot of solid potential

snamsnoops
When I watch Bradham he always seems to show up near the action at the end of the play but never seems to be the guy actually making the play. The first guy to give a high five. So Maybin??! I dont think that is fair. I thin Bradham will be fine and a nice addition to the LB corps
26TrapDraw
All I know is if Bradham continues to improve and we sign Spikes long term we will have a nasty set of LB's.....if
ganesh
Preston Brown looked bad to me. Slipping, falling, out of position. Welcome back Nigel. Nigel was the weakest link on that front seven last year. While he had a good TC, the pre-season games did not show anything to me. Since Rivers, Spikes and Brown played well last sunday, I don't see any reason to send Brown back to the bench. I think Nigel should be the one on the bench,
