Jauronimo
I don't think it took any guts at all. They were left with no choice. Guts may have been standing by the guy that they've defended for the last few months rather than bow to social media outrage.

section122
No way an NFL team touches him. He'll not play at all this season and maybe not ever again. I'm sure he will be back but I agree that it probably won't be this year. That said it only takes one team to sign him and if there is a team that is dirty enough to do it, I would vote new england. KDIGGZ
was interested to see him take the field and have those dirtballs in baltimore give him another standing ovation like they did in the preseason but i'm glad they cut him. if his wife is smart she will leave him too and take half

BillsVet
Rice's play tailed off last year. Still, surprising they bowed to public pressure. That said, it's never OK to strike someone in the way Rice did. Ever.

Roger Goodell
I hope the Bills don't cut Fred Jackson for doing the same to girly man Chris Conte. The league takes these matters very seriously. I'll be meeting with Mr. Jackson to discuss his bullying and abuse of Mr. Conte.
