I read a lot on my iPad through kindle and I listen to a lot of unabridged audiobooks. And the LA public library has a huge assortment. It's a great way to get books immediately. As soon as I saw your post I went there and did a Tosches search for the book. I panicked when the second one listed was "Under Tiberius." I debated whether I should actually continue on. They didn't have the Dean book but I snagged the audiobook to "Me and the Devil" which looks like my kind of stuff. I will look for Dean book elsewhere.
