They've been saying that since 2002. You guys ARE Bills fans.

the past two World Cup's we advanced to second round(both times we were in group of death). And like the thread states- Yedlin(20 years old), Green(19 years old), and Zelalam(17 years old) lead a talented group the next 3-4 World Cups. And yes- this guy is one gigantic Bills fan!!

Tim Howard named secretarty of defense. http://gawker.com/ti...er/full (Gawker)

And some gems for comments- I paraphrase:

"Lets name a state after Tim Howard. How about one of the Dakota's?"

And there is a petition to change Ronald Reagan airport to Tim Howard airport

The forwards were strong. The outside defenders were strong. The interior defenders were not strong but almost adequate. Where the US failed and failed miserably was their midfield. The midfield never controlled a single minute of any match. Jones was solid but more out of physical will than good play. Bradley's struggles are well-documented. Bedoya, Zusi, and the rest didn't add much. If the US is to improve, it has to be with some midfielders who don't make mistakes, have better touch, and don't panic on the ball.

The US has made it out of the group stage in 3 out of the last 4 world cups, that would be like the Bills making the playoffs almost every year for the past decade and a half.

So...... yeah

The US had no answer for De Bruyne

Only the women were upset when Zusi came out of the game yesterday.

The future is bright!

The future indeed is bright. Jurgen is the right guy to lead this team. As others have mentioned, our weakness is the lack of creative midfielders. Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce one of our future midfielders: Gedion Zelalem. He also plays for my club team Arsenal. He is likely to be world class given what he has shown at such an early age.

Looks like Yedlin impressed people in his performance against Belgium.

http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/roma-and-genoa-could-join-forces-to-bring-yedlin-to-serie-a/

USMNT’s DeAndre Yedlin is very appreaciated in Italy. Genoa have been pursuing the Seattle Sounders’ defender for a while. However, his performances in the World Cup have raised his price tag. Therefore, Genoa’s president Preziosi is asking a big club for help to have him next season. Roma could acquire the fullback and then loan him to Genoa, the clubs met at dinner yesterday. Yedlin could soon arrive in Seria A.

Results by confederation

UEFA: 10x winners, 15x runner-ups

CONMEBOL: 9x winners, 4x runner-ups

2014 Semi-finalists: Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Netherlands

It's a little less spread out in South America.

Brazil (5), Argentina (2), Uruguay (2)

Italy (4), Germany (3), France (1), Spain (1), England (1)

Though if Falcao wasn't hurt and Brazil would have been treated equally (as opposed to being allowed to literally mug players on the field with no consequence), we might be seeing a Columbia World Cup.
