She received her fifth nomination this morning, for the Best Actress category. She is going against Streep, Blanchette and Bullock. ...at least she made it there five times. Nominations for June Bug, Doubt, The Fighter (she was the girlfriend), and I believe The Master. This is her first Best Actress Nom, as all previous nominations were for Supporting Actress. Her performance was excellent (flawless, really) on-screen...but the preparation, planning, and effort it took behind the scenes to pull it off was awesome.
