ABC News brought up the question of why he was on the waiting list for 20 months when the average wait time is only 6 months. First thought upon hearing that was they had to find a donor with a black heart.

I thought along those lines too when I heard about David Crosby's liver transplant.

ABC News (and Yahoo who's linking the story) are questioning if Cheney should have gotten a heart in the first place due to his age. They are dutifully trying to determine who would have gotten gotten the heart otherwise (i.e. who died so that Cheney could live).

If they were really responsible they'd find an old lady who died of heart failure who might possibly have had some chace of survival had she gotten the heart, post childhood pictures of the decedent under a caption saying: Dick Cheney Stole Her Heart.

Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. If Cheney were still VP, ABC and Yahoo wouldn't be so kind as to assume a voluntary donor. The narrative would be that Cheney sat in his secret bunker searching his government DNA database for a suitable donor then called up Haliburton® to send his private corporate army out to harvest

Prayers for Mr. Cheney and his speedy recovery.

Thank you sir, for all your service to this country.

.

Oh brother! Yes, thank you for that wonderful Iraq War.

I am surprised that Obama's socialist death panel approved of the procedure.

Which one?

Cheney's got lifetime full coverage through his government benefits. Socialist policies never apply to the ruling class.

Hey, remember when Ted Kennedy died, and comments like these weren't allowed?

Friggin' hypocrites.

How !@#$ing senile are you? another incredibly stupid comparison, let me know when Cheney has the good manners to die then maybe you'd have a !@#$ing point.

Friggin' hypocrites.

so when in the 12page thread were comments like

Bye, Ted. You won't be missed.

Next time I'm in Massachusetts, I want to find out where he's buried so I can piss on his grave.

Only Don Shula left to go.

Almost drove off a bridge when I heard this news. Wow.

All politics aside, good riddance to a despicable human being who should have died 30 years ago.

Ted Kennedy is a murderous, misogynist scumbag who, just like the rest of his family, used power and privilege to avoid the consequences of his miscreant behavior!

Ted Kennedy struck me as a rather unlikeable guy...regardless of who he left for dead in a car in a river.

this not allowed.

Tom you are a total !@#$ing tool.

Is it routine for you liberals to periodically give your skull an enema?
