largelover Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 For a guy who hasn't had more than 14 sacks in a year, it's way overpaying. Sure he was on-pace for 16 last year, but that highlights the problems he's had staying healthy the past couple years. Again I'd turn my attention towards Wimbley. they need to keep going after williams he is 10 times better than wimbley. wimbley has spent most of his career in a 3-4 and has mainly been an outside linebacker. before last year williams was in a 4-3 and that means he is the best fit. they have the money to spend and they should spend it. they should also go after mike wallace he is better that mario manningham and has been the #1 receiver in Pittsburgh the past two year. he doesnt have height but he has speed and we need that more than anything.
