Doesn't it say something when the Bills and Jets are making (presumably) comparable offers to a guy- one to be their #1 corner, the other to be their 3rd or 4th corner.

Perhaps. But you are a negative nancy for bringing that up ;)

But what would really say something is if the Bills and Jets make comparable offers with the Bills as a #1 corner and the Jets as a #3 or #4 corner and he takes the Jets offer. An interesting week this is turning out to be.

Jets are going after Nnamdi so Florence is safe, but if they do they will own the division and will win the superbowl.

No worries. Revis, Asomugha, and the rest of the Jets defensive backfield will have their hands so full with Lee Evans and Steve Johnson, that they won't notice the Bills nameless tight end roaming free in the middle of the field. TD city, baby.

Florence, 3 years, 18 million? Too much?

Wouldn't it be funny if the Jets are driving up the price for Florence with Buffalo in a seemingly desperate mode at CB? Kinda like Edmonton signing Vanek to the offer sheet 4 years ago after the Sabres lost Drury and Briere.

It would be sort of funny yes, but I highly doubt that is what is going on. The jets have bigger fish to fry. If they were going to do something like this, it would be to the Patriots. As much as I hate to say it, why should they even be worried about Buffalo? Maybe this is just a way to put the pressure on Asomugha, letting him know they are considering other options to get him to bite. Then again who knows, Maybe Rex Ryan just thinks he has excellent foot work

Well, Florence is pretty good, but he's not that good . . . don't over pay for him. Use the money to get a top LB or OT

You clearly do not get it.

If someone else signs him, then he is that good, and the Bills are idiots.

If the Bills sign him, then nobody else wanted him, and the Bills are idiots.

This is the TSW way...get it straight!

If that was the opinion of every free agent, the same teams would always be good.

they are...and the same teams are always bad
