  1. Not to mention the Bills have only allowed a few more TDs to WR/TEs compared to JETs. In terms of Fantasy Football, it's actually a pretty even matchup.
  2. He garnered A TON of respect from the Patriots. They came out and said we are glad he retired, because he sacked Tom Brady more than anyone else did. He was definitely not over rated. He was a great player playing in one of the worst eras of team history (a plethora of years of mediocrity and crap). I had a lot of respect for the man. I wish he would've continued playing, but 10 years on nothing but losing teams, and shouldering a defensive line that was lackluster gets old, and wears down on you fast. I don't think he'd be able to come out of retirement, but it would be cool if he came back to the form that he was in before leaving (and this is JUST HYPOTHETICAL...)
  3. Bills 35 Jets 21 I think the Bills will run all over this Jets D, with Fitz throwing 2 TDs and an INT. I think 1 TD will go to Nelson in the air, the other to Chandler, with Freddy running 2 in. I think Our D gets a pick 6 as well.
  4. Now Big Bird I could go with...and you're not demanding it!
  5. seriously...As someone else stated...I'll stick to calling him Scott Chandler...simple enough for me
  6. 1) why are we calling him cheddar? 2) why does everyone need a nickname?
  7. store716.com just found the place myself via hockey heaven. Bought myself a Fitzmagic and FredEx shirt!
  8. The football gods desire variety, so variety shall be given...
  9. point taken. although anybody in a rex ryan defense can be considered a factor, as he likes to make sure that everyone on his D is accounted for.
  10. I'm not in denial...there's no doubt in my mind that Jackson is going to lay Maybin on his arse.
  11. I only go to the cold weather games. It's just an amazing time! My uncle has season tickets, and he goes to the games up until Thanksgiving, and me and my cousins split the rest, or don't take our friends and go together. I would hate to see a dome built. My favorite Bills game that I've been to was the Indy game at the end of the '09 season with the semi-blizzard conditions. It was fun. There are still some of us fans who enjoy the snow games! I would love to see some upgrades done to RWS, but I still enjoy any and every game I can get to. Sure beats anything in this area...(ithaca, ny area)
  12. I believe the point of the poster saying that "once again" was because it has been a recurring theme, as he is referring to the cliche that everyone was blowing up about earlier this season. Honestly, as I stated in that thread a while back, I believe the cliche is no longer valid. Look at how the safeties play up in the box now, and look at how much of a passing league this has become. If every team is passing excessively, of course your safeties and DBs are making a majority of the tackles.
  13. ^This. I couldn't agree more with what you've said. The giving up on plays was the main detractor when he was here. There seemed to be a lot of pass breakups or interceptions that would not have occured had he not given up. I say the guys not worth it. don't mess with our chemistry now.
  14. I was there for that one...one of the most fun games I've been too because of the weather! absolute blast! I love taking my Uncles tickets for the cold weather games!
  15. People were saying before the game that Cinnci's D's stats were inflated due to the level of competition that they had faced to that point. All I'm saying is don't underestimate the competition.
  16. Remember that time we tried discounting Cinnci's D? oh yeah, that was like 2 weeks ago...
  17. 35-27 Bills. I think if we can get pressure on Eli like we did to Vick, and force him to throw where he doesn't want to, we'll win the turnover battle again. I think our screen and short/intermediate passing game wins this one for us again. This has the opportunity to be another great Buffalo Sports weekend (Friday and Saturday Sabres games, close it out Sunday with a Bills game!)
  18. Well Smith was doing a good job blocking, and well...Chandler's production speaks for itself... who am I kidding. Yeah, we have 1 good TE that is utilized more than any TE in recent Bills history...not sure what they see as the second pretty good TE?
  19. where? I've never heard that cliche before. I heard ESPN make mention of the fact that our safeties making so many tackles last year was attributed to our horrible run D, but as was pointed out before, the nature of where on the field the tackles are made are more important than the number of tackles. It also plays into what scheme the D is running. Just saying that "because your safeties are the leading tacklers on your team means your D is not good" is not valid!
  20. I guess I missed the origins of the sarcasm...unless it was the THE CURRENT METHOD OF WINNING IS UNSUSTAINABLE thread... either way, the last two threads I read have made me laugh pretty well!
  21. This was well done. I got the sarcasm pretty quickly. Thanks for that laugh!
  22. That's a good point, as he has been a scratch the last 2 games if I'm not mistaken.
