  1. and not to mention last week the cheifs were favored HEAVILY (I think like 60 something percent), and we whalloped them...take it for what it's worth
  2. He did burn the Chefs last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if when he was on the field they kept him tightly covered. I didn't get to watch as closely as I would've liked but it's just a thought.
  3. I'm going to say 28-17. If the Bills force turnovers, and stay disciplined, we'll be alright. We also need to use the pass, and draw plays. I think we've got this!
  4. Can someone explain why the author used Aikman, Smith, and Irvin as a reference instead of Kelly, Thomas, and Reed? Would have made a better analogy...and wouldn't have made me cringe as much.
  5. That was a great writeup! Thanks for that!
  6. I see us at the point where we win more of those OT/close games, giving us up to 4 or 5 more wins. now you're anywhere from 4 wins to 9 wins I like that better than TMQ, which has us pegged at 2-14.
  7. Frankly, there is no difference between teams 25 and 31. Those teams all have 1 thing in common: they don't win games. Until the Bills WIN like everyone else is saying, I really cannot say that we are being dissed...
  8. You have two VERY inconsistent defenders there, and one prone to questionable interference calls. I would not call that a solid three in the least bit. I do not see them cutting McGee flat out. There are teams that need a third or fourth CB, and salary aside, he's a consistent player.
  9. Well played good sir...well played. I'll have you know, I opened that up and let it play while I walked away from my desk...got the whole office.
  10. I don't see McGee getting cut. At worst he's still a better option in the slot than Corner. Let Williams grow a little bit more before getting rid a proven defensive back. It will keep some proven depth at a position that we always have injuries at (albeit he is usually the injured one...but still)
  11. Doesn't make sense...we definitely watched the Lions game and one other black out on his TV...
  12. Yeah I don't think so either. My Uncle in Amherst has Sunday Ticket and he still gets the Blacked out games
  13. GAH! DAMN YOU RALPH! so so dumb. it's bad enough not being able to see Sabres games...thank you DISH...Switching to Time Warner in a few weeks...Hopefully I can get the Binghamton lineup instead of 'Cuse...
  14. I started a Bills Franchise...and Lost Marcell for the entire season on the first snap of preseason...Re-start...
  15. I loathe the fact that a small tiny teensie weeny portion of the Syracuse broadcast falls into that 75 Mi range...because down in Ithaca...where I am 3+ hours from the stadium, I want to be able to watch on TV...ugh Please sell out all games this year...
  16. Did you factor in the number of games where he was the feature back? Because for both years, it wasn't until something like 3 games in. He wasn't seeing the ball all that much at the beginning of the seasons. I believe Roscoe is more replaceable than Freddie, but in all honesty, I think both are necessary for the team to improve.
  17. Hester is by far the greatest punt returner I have ever seen. But I still believe that Roscoe is up there in regards to current returners. He is explosive in the open field and can make people miss. He wasn't given many opportunities after that fumble against Cleveland a few years back, which was an awful play.
  18. I would rather them extend Stevie and Freddy first, but as long as the Bills get contracts for the right players, I really cannot complain. Roscoe is definitely ballsy with the routes he runs across the middle, but he is injury prone because of it. He is a great punt returner, and wasn't appreciated under DJ. I'm glad to see him develop more under Chan.
  19. I wish this could be possible, and if it turns out to be, I'd buy you a 12 pack or 3 or 4... I really don't see us winning 11 games. I would love to see it, but too much hangs in the balance when it comes to potential injuries and the offensive line. We're one or two injuries away from being our old (lack of) run defense, and Fitz can't throw if he's not upright. I could see some of these games being closer than what a lot of people here predict, but I just don't see us being THAT good
  20. no, yes there were, no, yes, us or the coaches?, and not enough yet...
  21. I think the last thing this team needs is prune juice...
  22. someone needs to get the correct story, for sanity sake
  23. I respectfully disagree. Evans didn't run the timing routes as well as some of the other receivers. He could run a mean deep route, but the short to intermediate timing routes weren't his forte. That's all Roscoe, and now Jones. Roosevelt, IMO, showed some decent route running, and Stevie still has a lot of upside...again IMO. I thought the offense looked ok, but needs a little more gelling time. The line was ok...at least they are better than the Bears starting OL. Defense looks very promising right now. I can't wait to get another look this Saturday.
  24. That report was on the Bills homepage (Chris Brown's blog), but they also said that the Bills asked for third round pick, which Carolina doesn't have...so they backed out.
