  1. The man ended the AFC East championship game against the Fins the last game of the year when they had the ball at midfield late in the 4th with a pretty nice INT against Tua on the sidelines. People forget pretty quickly around here.
  2. At least he can't injure someone on our own defense every game from his recklessness
  3. Daquan was the MVP of that defense before he got hurt in the Jags game. Never has been the same since. He was a force against both the pass and the run for those first several games.
  4. Bills sleepwalk too to some degree which is why they find themselves in the situation they are in currently, but we always seem to get their best when their best is needed, which is the sign of a really good team. Just think it requires too much energy to go thru an entire season ramped up every game and you run the risk of peaking too soon otherwise.
  5. Well unlike some other team we know, their defense tends to play better on the playoffs.
  6. Rice seems to get a lot of targets in the Red Zone historically. He caught 2 short TD passed last week in his first game back. I hate to say this but KC is looking like a problem again now.
  7. I find this to be almost unfathomable how after a bye week so many people would STILL not be ready to play. I mean how seriously are they taking their treatment and rehab to get themselves ready? Did they cancel their bye week plans and stay in town to do rehab work to ensure they were good to go or did they go spend their week off in Cancun soaking up some rays and drinking Pina coladas with their wife or girlfriend? And if they did stay in town WTF is the strength and conditioning staff and trainers doing them because clearly it hasn't been their job.
  8. It's not a daily thing, it's just very situationally as needed....maybe once every few months or so
  9. Against teams not named KC the Bills have allowed an average of 20 PPG in the 8 playoff games under McD/Allen. Please have facts at your disposal next time prior to writing.
  10. I think the loss of Edmunds and how important he was to what we do schematically on D in the passing game was vastly understated. It used to be really hard to even complete 5 yard passes against this team. I don't agree. Most teams are not going to be able to beat us by running the ball if the offense is playing at its normal level. The Falcons succeeded because we scored 14 points, not because of them running. We had plenty of chances to score points and failed to do so. The Bills are willing to give up some plays in the run game to do better against the pass. Clearly they would like to do better in some areas, but in general they aren't worried about the run as much as the pass.
  11. Oh absolutely, but honestly, what team doesn't? People used to freak out when we were a "No-Fly Zone" and teams averaged under 200 yards passing a game and they would see a few completions for like 20 or 25 yards and freak out and at the end of the game the QB would have thrown for like 178 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. And I have been guilty of that as well...you see a few big plays and you think they are getting crushed, but in the overall game, it's not anywhere close to as bad as you think. The only team that really put up numbers on us offensively were the Falcons.
  12. No argument from me on either of those. Bills D is in flux right now I think and my hope is that with some more time to gel with new and young players and players coming back into the lineup, it will solidify down the back stretch of the season. Playoff D is essentially "Why does KC score 2 TDs more per game in the playoffs against us than in the regular season?" If they can solve that one problem, they will win Super Bowls. It shows the defense is in flux right now and it's still early in the season. Perhaps it may not be as good, but perhaps it will get better. I don't care what it looks like until we get into the playoffs honestly. If they play their 4 best games of the season in the playoffs, and we have to suffer thru some tough games in the regular season, I'll take it.
  13. Probably not much. A lot of good QBs have looked mediocre against the Bills D over the years. Let's not kid ourselves into thinking other divisions have been some kind of powerhouses over all those years. Perhaps we should say the same thing about the Eagles?
  14. The takes on this board when talking about the 2nd winningest team in the regular season in all of pro sports over the last 6+ years are absurd. In elimination games in the playoffs? Sure. I'm with you there. In regular season games? Who cares. They win at a rate unseen anywhere other than Kansas City.
  15. They are 14th this year at 22.8. We don't need an elite D when we have an elite O. 14th is plenty good enough to win a Super Bowl with. In the playoffs they allow an average of 24.0 PPG since 2018. The real issue in the playoffs is their inability to get off the field against KC when they do just fine during the regular season in that regard. Regular season, KC has averaged 20 PPG against them, in the playoffs they average 34 PPG. There is no excuse for the exact same team with the exact same players to be 2 TD better against you in the playoffs than the regular season over a span of 4+ years.
  16. You realize the Bills D has allowed the fewest points in the NFL since 2018 when Allen has gotten here right? I mean we can talk about all this, that and the other, but the bottom line is the only thing that matters is how often the other team scores, and the Bills are the best in the NFL over that time in preventing it. The Bills also have allowed the fewest yards in the NFL over that span as well, and BY FAR, the lowest passing yards allowed also. What are we doing? Making up stuff that never happened?
  17. GB seems to have no issues drafting WRs that can get downfield and separate and also catch the ball short and intermediately and separate. Maybe the Bills should investigate and study the type of players they are drafting.
  18. You mean the teams he has sucked as the OC with?
  19. That was pretty obviously coming...probably going to miss most of the regular season with a broken collarbone
  20. This injury list after a bye is just absurd. What were these players doing on their break? Clearly not getting treatment that's for damn sure. Just stay away from Franklin. Something ain't right in that area...
  21. #2 means we wouldn't need to worry about it because he isn't for sale, especially not to a division rival.
  22. I sometimes wear my knee brace for leg workouts as I tend to tweak it occasionally. Had a situation a long time ago while squatting where my knee buckled and I think I damaged my patellar tendon pretty badly but never got it checked out, just stopped doing legs for a few months while it healed. Still bothers me from time to time, and noticed it bothered me a lot when I used to play flag football and blocked - any sort of sudden force or impact while standing seems to bother it the most... Pain is typically straight down the kneecap, so I brace it for a few days during workouts and my walking(I get 18-20K steps a day) and it goes back to normal without any pain. Probably something I am going to have to deal with for the rest of my life I assume at this point now that I am 50 and the initial injury was over 10 years ago.
  23. and throwing strength since he will not be able to plant and throw as well. That doesn't sound good for Strong...sounds like his football career might be hanging in the balance.
