More like Allen seemed determined to attack them downfield and refused to take the easy throws and easy runs that were routinely there like has has for the past year and a half almost without hesitation. He has also had happy feet inexplicably and has been bailing from clean pockets, especially against the Pats where there was no pressure and if he would have simply waited a half second would have had some wide open throws come free. Perfect example is on that Shakir INT against the Pats. Huge lane for Allen to take off through that likely gets him a first down or even if the 2 Patriot defenders end up coming up towards him from like 15 yards downfield, he is still picking up 7-8 yards making it 2nd and short. Instead, he doesn't take it and tries to fit a ball to Shakir that he simply didn't have to and there was no reason to throw that ball. This was to a large degree an issue with the Falcons game as well. Allen has not been mentally sharp and that, in and of itself, has been the largest problem on offense the last 2 games. The team also not being as mentally sharp the last 2 games has gone along with that. Honestly, it almost seems like the constant fan and media questions about "why aren't they attacking downfield at all" has started getting to both Brady and Allen. Instead of just doing what they do, which is piling up 30+ point games effortlessly, they seem like they are trying to silence the critics.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

Exactly this. If they go into full rebuild mode it would be around 2 studs on offense in Waddle and Achane who are in their prime. -
Max Hairston to return to practice from IR

You understand there are different grades of sprains right? Not all of them are of the garden variety, few weeks to heal. You'd rather they rush him back so he can tear it and then be done for the year? Apparently common sense no longer exists on this board -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

!) We can't afford his contract right now 2) Dolphins are not trading him even if they do rebuild, him and Achane would remain the centerpieces of their offense, why would you get rid of 2 studs in their prime? -

We can always get Ray Ray McCloud back now that he was released from the Falcons...quietly put together a decent year least year with 62 grabs and almost 700 yards. Although I don't think this is really viable since he is another slot guy and we already have a bunch of those and he hasn't shown that kind of production anywhere else including with us. -
You really must have way too much time on your hands in Oklahoma.

the Bills over the past few years have been far better than the Knicks...they have been the best regular season team in the NFL by a very wide margin when looking at per game numbers and analytics. The Knicks have never been that even when good, and certainly not for 6 years straight.

Max Hairston to return to practice from IR

I mean he got hurt in the first practice of TC didn't he? How does that have any relevancy? -
Maybe the ref told him to go jump on the sidelines or something 😂

Probably not...already missed several games with a hamstring, then in first game back has that happen... -
Huh? What are you looking at? The only year Frazier's defense wasn't top 5 with Allen was in 2020 when it was ranked 14th. In the other years it was ranked 2nd, 3rd, 1st, and 4th. In PPG starting in 2018 it was ranked 18th, 2nd, 16th, 1st and 2nd. Bills were literally a "no-fly" zone under Frazier...over a 4 year period the Bills had more games they allowed under 200 yards passing than they allowed over 200 yards. In an era where 300 and even 400 yard games are common, that's ridiculous. The problem was mostly in the playoffs.

Mike Evans with a broken collarbone likely ending his season...yikes... Guess it's going to be his first year without 1K yards. -

Gibbs going off is going to make up for Nix going off for my opponent in the 4th yesterday and almost costing me my fantasy game 😂 -
Is he being outplayed or did the team just choose to play younger players to see what they had? Many times in these situations with new coaches and a rookie QB, they want to see what they have with young players to see what they are going to need at those positions especially when the older vet likely won't fit into their plans long term or is on a one year deal.

Many weeks overdue

No. We also have significant pieces on D entering the lineup this week. We also have the MVP. We also have a team that has won 82% of all it's games after the bye week in the last 5 seasons, going 30-7 in that time when not playing a game resting most starters like week 18 last year. If you are this concerned, maybe you should take up competitive knitting at the old people's homes...I hear Mabel's fingers are not quite as dexterous as they used to be wit arthritis kicking in and all, maybe you'd feel better about your chances there.
