Yes, but coming in after the play is essentially over with pointless reckless tackle attempts and injuring your own players should not just be looked at as OK.

My problem with his missile tackles is he has a greater negative effect on his own teammates by constantly injuring them thru his recklessness. But clearly he hasn't been right this year so if he needs to get it resolved then this might be the best thing for the back end of the stretch run I mean you hear quite often at the end of the year that people have been dealing with pretty significant injuries that impede their play, but never listed on injury reports during the season. There has to be some gray area that allows teams to not list players.

It's interesting because typically the Bills aren't killed down to down as much as they get hurt with long runs that tend to inflate the numbers. I'm not saying they have been great, but really it's more a few plays a game here and there that lead to huge averages versus constantly giving up big yards per carry.

Also kind of paints Belichick in a different light also in terms of loyalty if he paid for it out of his own pocket. He didn't need to do that.
