The lack of general geographic knowledge of NYS continues, this time from CNN… “Nearly 6 feet of snow has fallen across portions of western New York – numbers considered historic for the area, the National Weather Service said. The town of Natural Bridge, just east of Watertown, has recorded 70.9 inches Saturday morning, which is just shy of 6 feet. Watertown has seen 57.4 inches over the last two days.” Never once have I known anyone to consider Watertown in Western NY. But most think Westchester County is Upstate.

What are your thoughts on John Murphy as our radio announcer?

this guy is right up there with Greg Papa (former CNY guy) who did the raiders for years and now does the 49ers. His preparation and the way he gets the formations described is very impressive. -
Special teams duh fir the team that punts least in the nfl

Refs messed up the clock and didn’t have it run after the penalty.

not sure why McKenzie can’t run a run route in and short yardage situation and not get a first down. It was down with Beasley for two years. Concept is the same regardless of the receiver.

NFL Week @10 - Vikings at Bills - 2nd half game thread

Going for it on 4&2 tells me they coaches didn’t think the D could stop 2 TD drives by Minnesota. Baffling. -
Put extra keys on your key ring to shake/jingle them to make crowd noise. Everyone wearing gloves really takes something away from the crowd on defensive 3rd downs

Could somebody please have a chat with Thad Brown?

here are some participation stats from 18-19 school year. Pre-COvID. But the NFHS numbers on boys in 11-player tackle football show some trends that football’s supporters shouldn’t ignore: Participation is at its lowest level since 1999-2000 (1,002,734). At this rate, participation could fall below 1 million next year. 1998-99 (983,625) was the last year that happened. About 22% of boys in high school sports participation in 11-player tackle football. In the 1998-2000 period I reference in the first two items, that participation rate was more than 26% — meaning where once one in four boys played, now we’re moving toward one in five. The average number of boys per school in 11-player football in 2018-19 was 70.6. At the sport’s participation peak in 2008-09, that average was 79. (That includes all levels — varsity, junior varsity and freshman.)

perhaps there will be a clerical error and the Jets will accidentally trade Breece Hall instead of Bryce Hall
