  1. Special team aces shouldn’t make up more than minimum level contracts in my opinion. Other than long snapper.
  2. For starters here is my first steps from a personnel standpoint. 1. Let Poyer walk 2. Let Edmunds walk 3. Trade Oliver to avoid his salary for next year and get a 2nd or 3rd for him. 4. Use the above money saved above to go sign the best two OL available regardless of position. 5. Determine if Mitch Morse is going to retire and if so and rework his contract to spread out any hits. 6. Determine if Dawkins and Brown are capable of playing Guard. 7. Do not re-sign or sign any “special teams “ace” (other than Ferguson). No Jones, Neal, Kumerow, Mattekevich. 8. Explore resigning Daquan Jones. 9. Tell Josh Allen and $8M/year salary reduction would do wonders for getting an improved OL or an improved 2nd WR.
  3. a top 10 pick isn’t supposed to be a role player!
  4. The exception has 7 rings? Maybe it’s worth considering? Is 35M a year and endorsements not enough to squeak by on?
  5. Ed Oliver undersized DT who had one pressure in a playoff game against backup o-line. bills picked up his option, I would have no plans on resigning him after this upcoming season so I would cut my losses and get whatever I could. Use the money that he was owed toward the OL.
  6. I will say it again. Any time Josh Allen wants to take a $10M a year pay cut he can choose the WR or O-Lineman he wants that money to be spent on. Hate on Tom Brady for a lot of things, but he regularly took a yearly cap hit of 15-17M something like 65% of the highest paid QB.
  7. I give McDermott the option to have 2 new coordinators to start the season or then we part ways.
  8. yeahni know but still, may be more than an owner wants to pay.
  9. Poyer, Edmunds, Taiwan Jones, Siran Neal, Tyler Mattekavich all come to mind as folks I’d let walk. id find a way to trade Oliver mainly to get out of the salary for the year.
  10. I read Payton wants 20M a year. Not sure what McD is currently getting.
  11. no timeouts to challenge. It was clear expected eye in the sky NY to jump in on that one.
  12. No timeout to challenge that spot. Knee was down on 3rd and 2
  13. could Dawkins play G? Could he move to right tackle? In my dream off-season with Poyer and Edmunds money the 2 best Olinemen available are signed regardless of position.
  14. I don’t know about that. The D hasn’t made more than 1 tackle with getting pushed back. The line of scrimmage issue would have been there too.
  15. Also if the bills don’t come out in ultra hurry up no huddle I will be bewildered.
  16. Should be three runs and a FG attempt for the bengals here. Burn that clock
  17. Also I think this makes the off-season a bit simpler. Oliver, Poyer and Edmunds can all go without resigning. And the 45M can go directly to replacing Saffold and Bates and Morse (as I expect him to retire).
  18. hard to fire McD with all the off the field/non-football stuff they have been through. But the coordinators need to change. I might call Sean Payton just to see what he’s up to.
  19. Does Davis need to catch that sure, but the likelihood is far less than an option route for 4 yards to Beasley/Diggs. Which we refuse to run.
  20. Bills likely need to score 3 TDs and only allow 7 to have a chance to win.
  21. If footing an issue for both sides who struggles more the OLine or the D line? seems like the Bills have no footing on both sides.
