When the safeties are that deep you are essentially playing with only 5 initially coverage players (d-line doesn’t count). So take away their five O-line and it’s 5 defenders on 5 for receivers, then throw in maholmes scrambling ability. Not a formula to win in my opinion when it is the only defense you show for the entire night.

All this about being tired. Allen lead the offense on a 7 minute touchdown drive leaving less than 2 minutes. They played defense for 50 seconds on the Hill TD drive. They have an 8 man rotation o. The D-Line they are supposed to be tired up front.
