I think they can just have a buzzer go to the officials when it hits zero. It vibrates while the official is looking at the snap. If it hasn’t snapped the penalty. Simple and easy. Allows the official to focus more on the snap of the ball rather than having to look two places. also technology exists as buzzing down to an official occurs for booth initiated replays.

First round pick should be used to draft the most pro ready offensive lineman available regardless of what position, C, G, or T not an athletic freak who will need to be coached up. This need to be a plug and play starter.
