Next years hype to the fan base??????????????????????
Maddog69 replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ralph and Bill split on bad terms, I could not see Bill coming back as long as Ralph is still the Owner. I think whenever Nix goes, Doug Whalley takes over. Unless Ralph dies and a new owner completely cleans house. -
Buffalo Is Going To Beat Houston
Maddog69 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love the Bills and I want them to win every game they play, but in my head and heart, I just don't find any reason to believe that they have any chance at all of winning either of the next two games. I hope they do, but I honestly would be beyond shocked if they did. GO BILLS -
Well, I know for a fact that you have a 0% chance of getting a good QB if you never draft one. We need a franchise QB. We should do whatever we need to in order to get one of the top QB prospects in this years' draft.

Its worth a shot. He can't be any worse than the cast of retreads and Coordinators we've had as our HC for the last 2 decades.

He's a guy that I would not mind being considered to replace Chan as HC

T-Jax in the Wildcat @Houston Week 9
Maddog69 replied to albany c2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the reasons TJax will not play have almost nothing to do with his salary. 1.) The reasons are: Nix/Gailey love Fitz 2.) TJax cant play defense 3.) Tjax has struggled to learn the playbook and there are not enough snaps available to get him up to speed. Fitz is the guy until or unless he gets hurt. I'll say it again, his contract is not the reason that Tjax not playing -
You have to go to Pat O'Brien's for a Huricane or two We had dinner at NOLA (owned by Emeril). It was fantastic. and you have to try the beignets at Cafe Du Monde

Here's my Houston game prediction, and it's spot on.
Maddog69 replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The next two game scare the crap out of me. I am expecting 2 more embarassing losses with point differentials totalling close to 100 point. Than we've got 4 easier games (Miami, Indy, Jax and St Louis). We will probably steal 2-3 wins out of those games and have the optimists out in force before finishing with 3 straight losses to Seattle, Miami in Fla, and NYJ. At this point, I'm am 100% expecting Chan to get fired. The only question is whether or not he finishes out the season or is canned at some point late in the year. -
What do you think of Gailey as an offensive coach?
Maddog69 replied to jonramz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree 100% -
I disagree about Chan being an excellent OC. His play calling and refusal to stick with the run make him horrible. He does not have a good grasp on game theory. He is passive when he should be aggressive (calling short passes with 40 seconds on the clock when you need to move downfield for a FG). He is aggressive when he should be passive (Throwing a bomb out of the wildcat when you have the lead in the game, the ball in your hands and the clock is running down). He clearly does not understand when to go for two (when you score a TD to take a 5 point lead with 4 minutes left in the game, you go for two because the PAT is pointless, no pun intended). All in all, he is not a good OC.

Yep. Another great move. Dump Moorman, the best punter in the history of the franchise, in the middle of the season for a rookie who has never punted in the wind at the Ralph.

I pray to god that you guys are joking

best post I have ever read. Seriously. I love the analogy and could not agree more with the entire post. When the BIlls/Sabres win a championship, I want to be able to look back on it with pride not have to make excuses and feel ashamed (as the Pats* fans should).

We just lost a WR, so the Bills sign a RB???
Maddog69 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WOW. Somebody gets it. Perfect post. -
Get well soon, Mr Wilson. This season promises to be exciting, you won't want to miss a minute of it.

I'll grant you that it was a horrific hit, but Trent was no worse after the hit than he was before. He sucked from day one. He was always "Captain Checkdown". He was simply overrated by fans who where unhappy with JP and were excited because Trent completed a bunch of consecutive passes (albeit for 2 yards each). Also don't forget that the best game of Trent's career came after the AZ hit. So many people love to make the case that the hit changed his career. I don't believe so. It may have made him even more gun-shy than he already was, but that is about it. BTW - I still laugh hysterically when I listen to the "Trent Edwards Parody" song from WGR. You have to look it up on Youtube if you've never heard it. One of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Would You Trade Any 3 Bills Players for Andrew Luck?
Maddog69 replied to Boludo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would be a horrible trade for the Bills. We would be far worse after this trade than before. We are on the verge of playoffs right now. Make that trade and we're 2-3 years away -
I was thinking the Cowboys will be after him as well

What were your stadium experiences last night?
Maddog69 replied to The Rev.Mattb74 ESQ.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm with PLENMD1 on this. I don't buy that this actually happened. There is no way a guy in his see actually urinated on a child next to him and did not get arrested (or have the snot kicked out of him). I think this is one of those urban legends or a story that has grown and been exaggerated with every time it is repeated. I'm not saying there isn't a bunch of inappropriate behavior, but this just seems to outlandish to be true. -

I was in sec 315 and had a great time. No drunks. No puke. No fights. There was a guy who I believe may have screamed loudly at the "SCAB" referees and was dropping the F bomb a bit. Pretty tame though. Sorry you had such a problem. But I do have to disagree a bit with your exertion that every other stadium in the country would be different. You will run into this behavior at every NFL stadium in the country. It is what it is. I take my kids to the games. They are 9 and 12. We've never witnessed anything too bad. A few drunks puking. Which was a teaching opportunity. I explained to them that this is what happens when you are an idiot. -
Just wanted to point out that the quote is from STEVE Wyche and not SAM Wyche. Not that it would carry any more weight either way.
