  1. If the offense was better at scoring points and staying on the field, the opposition would not be able to simply line up and smash the ball at our defense for the entire game trying to burn clock. Our Run defense numbers are poor in part because the offense sucks.
  2. I thought the same thing. That was pretty funny
  3. The one thing I noticed in Locker's game this year were the amount of drops by his WR's. One guy had 4 consecutive passes hit him right in the hands and he dropped every one of them.
  4. Then you probably weren't a big fan of Jim Kelly
  5. After watching all of the episodes, I'll gladly take Gabbert at 3. And then address D line and LB
  6. Thanks for the well thought out, intelligent and mature response to my post.
  7. 1.) Fitz sucks 2.) You can't wait for the defense to be stable to worry about QB. It takes a young QB 2-3 years to hit their stride. 3.) By the time the defense is dominant, the owner could be dead, the team could be in LA, the GM will have retired and or we'll probably have a new HC 4.) They already know that Fitz is not "the guy"
  8. I want them to take a QB but would be OK with Dareus or Miller I will be annoyed if it is anybody other than these 4
  9. Anybody who doesn't vote "no" is either delusional or just plain stupid Fitz is a backup. Hi saccuracy sucks balls and he throws too many picks especially late in close games.
  10. Yep. You are guaranteed to get instant impact when drafting DL. Just look at Maybin, McCargo, Troupe, Carrington, etc.
  11. I was disappointed with these episodes with this year's crop of QBs. I thought the ones he did last year were way better. These episodes were not as detailed. It was a lot of just BS'ing back and forth. Especially with Mallett and John Daly. I would have liked to see him doing more film study and breaking down plays. they did a little, but not enough. I am not a big Gruden fan. I find him to be an egomaniac and a phony. But the episodes he did last (esp. with Tebow) were great.
  12. We don't need 50 mediocre players, we need a handful of elite ones. Stay at 3 and pick a difference maker. Unless you'd rather have them trade down until the own every pick in the 6th round, because all 6th rounders are the next Tom Brady, right?
  13. Dude, that was not an interview.
  14. more appropriate comparison might be Jim Kelly
  15. I would give the 3 and 34 (and more) to get up to #1 to get him if it was a guarantee that he would have the career that Bledsoe did.
  16. You have it wrong. They say that Locker's accuracy can never be improved but Ryan Fitzpatrick's can
  17. This is one point that people tend to forget. We addressed several D spots last year in FA and the draft. Those players should help in 2011. Plua, helping the Offense be better, will also help the D. If the O stays on the field and scores more points, the D won't always have to play from behind and face teams trying to ground the ball and burn clock. Not to mention that the Offense was also one of the worst rated in the league so they need just as much attention as the defense.
  18. How in the heck do you know? ALl 3 could be total busts. All 3 could be future HOFers. Nobody knows.
  19. I wonder exactly what this means. The commissioner usually announces all of the picks. Do you think Andre will really be at the podium to announce the pick or will he just be the one turning the card in to the desk and being in the photo opp?
  20. If Newton is on the board at #3, the Bills will race to the podium to make the pick just like they did last year. They will not trade the pick.
  21. If Newton is available at 3, I think he will definitely be the Bills pick. Even with all of the Newton to Carolina rumors, I still believe they will pass on him and take Dareus or Green. I think the only way Newton is gone before our pick is if someone trade up to 1 or 2 to get him before we do.
  22. I like reading his draft stuff. He is usually right on with his rankings and his Mock is one of the most accurate. I would love to see his overall player rankings to see his top 10-20 players overall and I am interested to see his mock when it comes out.
  23. I like this draft.
  24. Jim Kelly fell to us in the first round because he missed time in his senior year with a serious shoulder injury. Nearly every player in the draft has suffered some sort of injury at some point in their career and will most likely suffer one or more in their NFL career. More recently, Sam Bradford and Michael Crabtree were drafted early despite injury concerns. The bottom line is that the team doctors have to decide how well they expect the player to recover from the injury. If the Dr's are OK with the player, I have no problem with him being picked. **remember, every player in the draft is a crap shoot.
  25. This would be a great draft. But I think Ponder will go late in the 1st and I'm not sure Sheppard lasts into the 3rd. I would be very happy if this is how the draft worked out for the Bills.
