  1. The way they have played all year...you had to see this coming...You just had to. Hope is fine when you have reason. But they told us week 1 who they really were...They do not have enough answers and the same things are clear. They can't block, and they can't get to the opposing passer...Game, set, match...
  2. 2nd and 11...Here's 13...Thanks!
  3. If they can't get home on Brady well... You know... 2 plays and they're almost in FG range...
  4. Bills have end zone allergies... The closer they get to one...
  5. Getting ready for another entry into the "which game was the most pathetic performance" category...
  6. Well... This is too easy for TB...Like taking candy... It's all the same old same old with this team this year...They can't punch anyone in the face, on either side...And when they go up against decent teams they just look bad...Disjointed and bad...
  7. Same could be said about the Jags and Pittsburgh losses... The Tennessee loss was a massive heartbreaker. They had that game... Very, very frustrating...
  8. The Hughes thing is the same as the O-Line thing...Same as Addison...Same as Vernon Butler...etc... It's always best to be a year early than a year late. The Bills are suffering for their loyalty IMHO... If you agree with the Bills thinking on the D-Line, then it's OK to Draft DE in Rounds 1 and 2, after Drafting DE with their 1st pick (2nd Rd) the year before, so the vet DE's get more rest(?)...Now...the Defense has been pretty good this year...But those resources could have been spent to help in other, more needy areas...Especially after you Draft the 2 kids...
  9. Agreed... This was a tough lesson for Beane, and McD to learn...But from here on out they need to get way better on when to cut and run and when to re-sign. When a player shows he cannot do something well, especially when it's not in their Rookie year, there is a likelihood they may never do that thing well...You can't coach and develop your way out of everything. And you're WAY better off being a year early than a year late in addressing those positions... I think the Bills leadership knew exactly what they needed to do to take the next step. Where they blew it was assuming they could get that kind of production with basically the same personnel. Anyway...
  10. We'll cross that bridge when we get to the off season...
  11. McD flat out says it's very hard to fix what is wrong with the Bills Offense at this point of the season... Honesty...
  12. Yep...I kept telling my Nephew tonight...They need people to step up to Josh's level all over this offense...And all too often they don't...
  13. Yep...100%...But The way Josh was throwing it they still could not manage much, and then were chasing down and distance again...The throw away plays are killers because it cuts down the margin of error... Anyway...I agree...
  14. It's insane...Really...I see these early down runs go for 1 or no yards and I think...It's actually hard to be this bad running the ball when you have a QB as good as Josh...Teams have to respect him...They have no choice...And we should be able to gash them with the run...But then you realize...Josh is also the best runner... Good grief...What a mess they've made of this...I told everyone after that KC Championship game the path was through the running game...I was not really considering the weather factor much either...I just know this...If you can run it when you have a QB as good as Josh...That how you win a Championship...
  15. No matter how you slice it...This is 100%...
  16. This one feels different based on how incredibly easy it would have been to win this game... The D gives up that big run...The Pats really don't threaten much beyond that...And we can't score 15 despite moving the ball...Even in the air at times! That pass to Diggsy is money, and I know he has to turn and relocate, but you figure Diggs makes that play...He's made tougher...Then Bass misses the FG...I don't know... After a while you gotta think it's just not meant to be this year...Good grief...An unrealistic amount of things had to go bad for the Bills in this game to lose it...Really...This one was so freaking winnable...Ugh...
  17. Can't say this one was not there for the taking... Just piss poor...This team is mainly soft between the ears...They blew this game...Refs did not help of course...The missed FG was a killer...But the Bills should have won by at least 2 TD's...And they didn't because they are missing something on this team...There's plenty of talent...But the mix is just not good... Terrible loss...Just brutal...Can't blame the weather...can't really blame the refs...Just really bad loss on a very, very, very, winnable game...
  18. I feel like someone just punched me in the gut SO hard...
  19. What throw by Josh...He needs some people on this Offense to rise to his level...When a ball is thrown that well in these conditions you gotta make the play Dawson... Nothing is going to be easy...
  20. That was sloppy garbage... The weather is bad enough...Can't beat ourselves...
  21. Bills will be a new D next Monday...But that does not have to be a bad thing...If Oliver continues his upward progression, Star comes back, and the DE's do their part it could solve a ton of the fallout from Tre's injury...The Bills have plenty...PLENTY of talent on D...And realistically, it's going to be on the Offense more than the Defense anyway...We've always known that... I have no idea what to expect from Dane, but the Bills Secondary is one of the most talented units in the NFL...And talented units thrive on competition...So I'm guessing Jackson will be OK...Not Tre of course...But OK... I really don't know what they are going to do, but as soon as I heard Tre was gone my guess was McCloud would eventually be the #3...
  22. I said this (basically) right after the Playoff loss to KC... On Offense...It's not about being a more balanced necessarily...It's about having a functional running game that opposing Defenses have to respect...That goes hand in hand with an O-Line that struggles in run blocking, and backs that lack that next level ability...Not much of this seems fixable right this second. Seems more personnel based (IMHO)...I'm saying that because McD has all but endorsed the strategy itself. So I think, they think, they are addressing this actual area in practice and game plan. Only to get poor results... On Defense I was a BIG proponent of improving the DT position. I assumed Star was coming back, but to be honest I viewed every other DT outside of Oliver as a potential area of improvement...ESPECIALLY vs the Run...I know Joe Marino was on to this line of thinking. The Bills could have pretty easily Drafted a DT into this mix...One perfect example is a guy I liked for them, Tedarrell Slaton, who went #173 overall...To me a guy like that on day 3 just makes sense...Great size and decent athletic ability to work on...But they went 2 DE's, 2 OT's in their 1st 4... Like I said yesterday...Based on what I see from a completely unscientific viewpoint...The Bills seem to need an off season in these next 3 days...It quite literally looks that bad...Obviously it's not...The Bills have the talent to get buy and tweak it all the way to a SB if things broke well from here on out...But then again there seems to be a disconnect with the coaching and strategy that was not there last year...It's just...Weird to be honest...
  23. Agreed... They had zero injuries...zero at QB...RB...WR (well Cole a bit but he looked OK)...TE...LT...DE...S...or CB...None... They got stomped...Trampled... McD is going to have to eat this one...It's on him big time...
