I had an amazing weekend...I was Best man in a Wedding...Stayed at an incredible Beach House on Wrightsville Beach (Wilmington NC) with the best Friends and Family a guy can ask for...Went to 2 of my Nephew's Football Practices (he plays OLB for his Middle School)...It was the most fun I've had in years...Life could not be better... But I'm still pissed off at The Bills, and I have never thought Fitz would be the answer at QB...So your theory is ridiculous...You making assumptions about Folks who are negative about this Team...Life is great...The Bills? Not so much...Not yet at least...

Pretty much... He's got to be awfully good to change my opinion of him...It's an opinion I've had since he came here day #1...He's a heck of a good Back-Up QB who can come in and win you a few games...Especially vs poor to average Defenses...He'll get hot and thrill ya, then he'll get cold and kill ya...That's it...That's Fitz...It's who he is...He's now played in 59 Games and started 53 of them...That's about 4 seasons worth of evidence...I think it is what it is...I hope not...But I have zero faith in the guy overall...

Don't confuse minor effort with efficiency...So since 2004 they Drafted Losman, Edwards, and Levi Brown...Traded for or signed Fitz, Jackson, Thigpen, and Young...None of these QB's has even remotely shown they can be a Top 10 caliber Signal Caller...So just over 8 years and these are the attempts that they have made...Knowing none of these QB's are remotely close to being a Franchise QB...It's no where near enough...Not even close... OK...You're just going to blindly defend so I see this is useless...I guess we need guys like you around here to keep things interesting...

And just remember there were plenty of Folks around who don't even get paid to evaluate NFL QB's who told the Bills Fitz was a complete dead end...He is what he is and he's always going to be exactly that...He'll thrill ya one day, kill ya the next...Look it up...He's been doing it for a while now...There is history...Obviously The Bills don't know about that history, don't agree, or just don't care...And meanwhile that flop and get rid of him has cost them how many years? 2 Years is a lifetime in NFL football...

Mel Kiper says he would Draft a QB...at least one...every year...Because if you hit on a guy later on, even if you already have a guy, you're going to get a premium back...Gailey is supposed to be this Offensive mastermind...Do what Andy freaking Reed does and DEVELOP QB's...How does Nick Foles look so far? The Broncos got Manning AND Drafted Osweiler... But Fitz is the QB...It's a QB's league...He's not good enough...Don't change the subject...

He was also thought to be one of the best ST's players in this past Draft regardless of position...Not only will he likely make the Team...He'll probably be active on most Sundays...

Williams looked terrible in pre-season as a Rookie, and not much better when the regular season started...He did however come on late last season and played really well...In fact, it could be argued that Williams was The Bills best Defender at the end of the 2011 season...He may just be a guy who needs to get warmed up a bit...I'm going to hold off on any type of judgement at least until I see him in a few regular season games...He's got a ton of potential...

I'm 50% at best...The Jets have handled The Bills physically for a couple years now...If The Bills can't win the trench-battle, they lose this Game...Plus it's a Road Game...I do think The Bills are the better Team...But week #1 is a funny week...Anything can happen...

I agree we need to be a more physical running Team...And no question the 5 receiver sets may be used a bit too often by Chan...Still...It does not change that, for the most part, this has become a passing league...You have to have balance of short, intermediate, and long pass plays with screens and everything else mixed in...And Chan is now charged with finding that balance...No one said it would be easy right?

Excellent Post! You hit the nail right on the head concerning Fitz... And agreed...If The Bills want a Franchise-type QB they are going to have to be aggressive more than likely...And that does not come without risk...But it would seem 2013 would be the time for it...The core of the Defense is in place for years to come, And the Offensive Line is certainly not terrible...Sure The Bills could use another decent WR...But an accurate,Franchise-type QB will make any WR look better...Franchise QB's don't tend to fall into The Bills lap unlike The Steelers, Colts, Panthers, and Packers of the world...So Buddy will have to be prepared to make a big move...We'll see I guess...
