  1. I LOVE Jeffery..But I would be happy with Hill as well...
  2. I would honestly be shocked if the Colts do not take Fleener at #34...
  3. I don't think I made predictions like that...Unless I was stoned... Seriously though I do like Jeffery more than Floyd, not Blackmon...But then again I watched just about every Game Jeffery played in College, and I just like the Kid... I totally understand why he has slid...He got chubby...There's no question about it...I saw the gut... But I still think he's loaded talent-wise, and Buddy said he wants a WR who is open even when he's not...Alshon Jeffery IS that WR...I do think he's got the best hands in the Draft...I really like the Kid and hope we take a chance on him...
  4. I've wanted Jeffery since the end of his Sophomore year...Nothing has changed my mind...
  5. ^^^ This..It was a BIG part...
  6. I just don't know about this Trade up stuff...Not sure how I feel about it...Pretty sure I don't like it though... I do really like Kalil...And I know the lure of Kalil, and a Franchise-type LT is tempting...But I've always been of the mind that IF I trust my Scouting Dept, I'll take more picks every day of the week...If I'm the Bills GM, I'll take my chances with 2 picks (#10 and #41) over just #3 overall any time, UNLESS I'm moving up for a Franchise QB...I don't like giving up picks at all...I also don't think The Bills are good enough, or deep enough (especially at LB, CB, and WR) to be giving up #41... Even though I'm not a huge fan of Drafting Barron at #10, I'd much rather have Barron, WR Alshon Jeffery at #41, and start Hairston at LT, instead of just Kalil alone...And admittedly that may be just me...
  7. You're making the assumption that Kuechley (or anyone else they can get at #10) will be average, and any 2nd Round WR (or anybody else they can get at #41) will be less than mediocre, while also assuming Kalil will be a stud...Now, I'll give you Kalil...I think he's going to be a very good LT...But if I trust my Scouting Dept, I'll take #10 and #41 any day over #3 alone...UNLESS #3 is a Franchise QB...
  8. No thanks...I don't want an OG in the 1st Round...And The Bills, at least Buddy's Bills, have a philosophy to Draft OT's and then move them inside if necessary...DeCastro does not fit that philosophy...Glenn does...I'd rather have Glenn anyway...
  9. Well...Things keep getting more interesting do they not? That Mock had Gilmore going #5 to The Bucs...Wow! Anyway...I'm not trying to say I know more than anybody else...Just what I've seen with my own two eyes on a lot of these Kids...But if Barron turns out to be the 6th best player in this Draft on the NFL field, where it counts, I would be absolutely shocked...I just don't think he's got the speed or cover ability to be THAT good... I still think he can be a very good, if not great NFL SS...Assuming he can stay healthy of course...But 6th best in this Draft? I don't know...
  10. Berry is a FS right? Barron is a Strong...
  11. If Merriman comes back anywhere close to "Light's Out" this Front 7 has REAL nasty capabilities...Can you imagine? And in his prime Merriman could have played just about any LB position...He was amazing...
  12. Really? You would Trade down for DeCastro? Another non-need position? I think in a Trade down the target would be Kirkpatrick, Glenn, or maybe even Steven Hill at #18...
  13. I just assumed Merriman would be used mainly in obvious Passing situations...And I agree they want Merriman, Williams and Anderson on the Field together as much as possible when they (the Bills D) are guessing Pass...Wanny has to be licking his chops at that possibility... Agreed...
  14. Well...Dareus was a bit of a no-briner would you not admit? Sure Buddy could have messed it up, but he would have been run out of town too... I think the Jury is still WAY out on Spiller in the NFL...We'll see...He did come on late last year, but before that he was looking awfully average for #8 overall...The Bills passed on some VERY solid football players to take a "water-bug" RB when they already had two very good RB's in House...Spiller is dynamic no question, and I loved him in College...But he has a HUGE problem breaking tackles...I'd still rather have Lynch and JPP, or Lynch and Anthony Davis, than Spiller and whatever...But admittedly that may just be me...The Troup pick certainly does not speak well of Buddy...Troup was not projected there (at #41 overall) and we passed on some good talent with that pick...So... I do however think Buddy did a very good job last year landing Williams, Searcy, Rogers, and Hairston...Those were the type of picks that make a GM...As crazy as it sounds, I think Easley was a great Pick too in 2010...Just terrible luck with that Kid...But I think he's VERY talented for a 4th Rd WR...
  15. No one seems to be talking much about the injury situation with Barron either...And I realize the Docs are going to go over him with a fine tooth comb...He seems to be a tough Kid who played through some stuff...But on a team that is usually ravaged by injuries...I don't know...I guess he'll fit right in... Barron's Injuries
  16. Don't get too confused...Mayock went to BC, and absolutely LOVES Kuechly...I think he was just trying to play a little devils advocate seeing as though he's usually praising the kid ad nauseam...And maybe somebody was giving him a hard time about it?
  17. Why does that douche-bag Mort still hate The Bills and love TD?
  18. Well...You're preaching to the choir in me...But it does seem some folks don't think he's all that...Or that Searcy is going to amount to much...My thinking is, considering who the Bills already have at SS, this Kid better be the next coming if he's the pick at #10...
  19. True...He has no control over 1-9...So definitely anything can happen...At this point, he can make a list of 10 players and know he's going to get one of them...That's all...
  20. I could be wrong...But I'm assuming that kind of thing would HAVE to be cleared through Nix...Not the whole Mock, but The Bills Pick for sure...Maybe I'm wrong though...
  21. And Buddy flat out said they think they can get a big, fast, WR in the 3rd or 4th Round...Which struck me as TMI at the time... Who knows?...I'm hoping Buddy has this massive master plan working and it has NOTHING to do with Drafting Barron in the end...
  22. I think the fact that a guy on The Bills payroll is Mocking Barron to The Bills brings the interest into question BIG TIME... I mean...IF they love Barron, and you KNOW other Teams love Barron, why in God's name would you let your own employee Mock him to Buffalo? I'll say this much...IF The Bills do love Barron, and IF another Team Trades ahead of them to Draft Barron, they deserve to lose him...and be very disappointed...And that is a HUGE possibility now IMHO...Who could possibly say at this point The Bills have not shown their hand where Barron is concerned? But maybe, just maybe, that's what Buddy wanted all along...
  23. Oh I think Kuechly is a MUCH better all around player than Poz coming out...Definitely more instinctive, better at angles, and a million times better cover LB... That being said, I'm not sure that's saying much...We'll see...
