Not sure if any of you caught this little tidbit on WGR the other day...And to be honest I forget who said it, may have been Sal...But it was reported that The Bills are VERY interested in Mike Glennon from NC St...Whoever reported it said The Bills have been out to Scout Glennon numerous times already and really like the Kid...They said Glennon was the one to watch despite the fact that he's not necessarily a Chan Gailey-type QB... Well...Considering Fitz IS a Chan Gailey-type QB I'm guessing that's a good thing...

Well..Actually, more Scouts felt Dareus, at least more than Green, was the #1 overall Player in that Draft...I can't remember anyone having AJ Green #1 overall...Though I certainly don't claim to have a memory that is any good...I do remember Mike Mayock had Dareus #1 overall...Dareus, to this point, has greatly underachieved...He really was a no-brainer-type pick for The Bills based on everything I read and heard about Dareus...Though I would like to know why The Bills, or anyone else for that matter, had Dareus rated so much higher that JJ Watt and Aldon Smith who are absolute NFL terrors...

Geno Smith is already a Chief, or Jaguar, at #1 overall...Take it to the bank...

Well...I don't think smarts have ever had anything to do with the reason Fitz basically sucks...IMHO it's always been about his overall physical ability as a QB...or lack thereof...The guy makes the right reads often enough...Probably more than most NFL QB's...But getting the ball to the receiver where it needs to be, on time...That's a whole different story...He's got an average to below average NFL arm, his mechanics are not great, he can take off and run but he is not good at all in buying time and moving within the pocket to make a completion, and he's the least accurate deep-pass QB I've ever seen...He is brutally bad in that area...He makes the right read, then over, or under-throws the receiver 90% of the time... So anyway...I would not say dumbass as much as I would say he's not an NFL caliber athlete...

Great article...But I'm unsure about the Polian thing...The reports coming out of Indy about Polian and his son are certainly not good...And the team they built completely collapsed without Manning...I mean...It did not just go bad...It exploded...And Irsay was quick to finger the Polian's for the collapse...So far it's looking like a good move...Polian deserves a ton of credit for what he's done in the past...He may very well be a Hall Of Famer himself some day...But I worry that it's past his time... It may seem crazy because he is a part of the current mess...But I would almost rather give Whaley a shot over Polian...I would MUCH rather see the Bills pluck a top young guy from an Organization with proven, recent success...Not sure who that would be...But I would prefer it over Polian at this point...

Here we go again...Not that Bills Games are all that enjoyable to watch nowadays...But as a glutton for punishment I'm already regretting moving back to Rochester...May not see another December Home game again in my lifetime...

Right...Losing that Game had nothing to do with Fitz sucking... Some of the blind Man-love for Fitz around here is simply amazing to me...Even when is shrouded with the admission that The Bills need a better QB, the man-love still shines through...This is like living in some kind of alternate universe where despite incredible evidence that can be seen with the naked eye, somehow, someway, if somethings were just different elsewhere on this Team, Fitz would be good enough...I just don't get it...And I'm starting wonder if the Fitz lovers actually watch NFL Football where good QB's make plays and do what they have to to get their Teams to victories...Especially in crunch-time...Or do they just watch Fitz and get blinded by his awesome beard? I don't know...It's mind-boggling to me... Lastly...If we had a better QB this Team could afford a hell of a lot more mistakes in other areas...And generally it does not work the other way around...It may work for a game or two...But generally if your QB is not good enough, you're Picking in the Top 12...Again...Familiar much?

No matter how it happened...It should never happen... You can't let the Colts best WR beat you on a 3rd and 17...You just can't...It's not like The Bills or any other Team does not understand that Reggie Wayne is the #1 threat...Especially on 3rd and long...If another receiver beats you in that situation because you're paying more attention to Wayne, then so be it...But Wayne can't beat you there...And he did... And that's yet another example of why this Defense can't turn the corner...Whether it's poor calls, poor execution, or both...It seems to always be something with this bunch... And yes Barnett is done...He looks like he's running in quicksand on some plays...He's history...

Right, because he's the 1st NFL LT to struggle a bit blocking Freeney... I watched Glenn a lot on Sunday and actually felt like he did OK considering the fact that Freeney is an absolute whirling handful still to this day...With his speed and the spin moves...The guy is incredible...And leading up to that game Glenn has clearly played even better than most would have expected...So I think the criticism in this case for Glenn specifically is WAY unwarranted... Exactly...Folks are getting WAY off subject with criticism in this area...Talk about bigger fish to fry...Jeez...

Alex Smith is a better QB than Fitz...Since 2009 Smith has steadily improved...He's more athletic, and has a better arm than Fitz...He was the #1 overall pick in the Draft...He's a good, smart, young QB...Not great...but good and improving... What has happened in San Fran is a once in a decade thing...Everything is coming together at the right time, and Harbaugh is obviously in the top tier of NFL Coaches...If you're expecting The Bills can do the same I'm guessing you're going to be wrong. That is precisely why Fitz has to go sooner rather than later...The Bills are going to need better play at the QB position...Period...And granted Fitz would be better on a Team like San Fran...But The Bills are not San Fran, and he's not even as good as Smith...And heck Smith is in danger of being replaced there...That's how good that Roster is... So...Just saying...I hear you, but I don't think it's a reasonable comparison...The Bills need, and are going to need a better QB than Fitz...They just are...You can take that to the bank...They will not build a Playoff Team around Fitz...It's just too big a hill for this Organization to climb right now...

We could have had Kaepernick or Dalton instead of Aaron Williams... With that thought firmly planted in mind, let's once again put our trust in Buddy to take care of our QB woes through the Draft! Seems logical to me...

Duh...Really? Not as much as Fitz does...And if you think different you're just not watching the same game...But go ahead and keep making excuses for the guy...Somebody has to...

It may work to a degree...But Fitz is still going to miss easy passes he should make...Game-changing plays left on the field...And I still think that is by far Fitz's #1 liability...Championship caliber Football almost demands you make these big plays nowadays...Fitz just can't get the ball down-field with any consistency...And I don't think he ever will...

It makes the most sense to me....Which means nothing with this Organization I'll admit...Chance are though that The Bills sleepwalk, keep Gaily, and Fewell gets a HC Job elsewhere...That would be more probable based on everything I see from this sordid bunch...

I'm as negative about this organization as the next guy...But I still believe they are one real good QB away from being a pretty decent Team...I think The Bills would be better than Indy is now if they had Luck...And Indy is 7-4...So... I'm not sure what that really means...But when I look at this Organization I still say fixing the QB Position is Priority #1 by a long, long way...

I'll say it again...IF The Bills replace Chan, or he steps down...Get ready for Perry Fewell...It's an obvious fit, he won't cost a ton, and more than anything he would probably come back to Buffalo willingly...

Stevie's comments may very well be warranted...Despite The Bills best (or worse) efforts, this Game was still winnable in the 4th Quarter...But this was a Road Game against a Team that is a little above average. And to beat a Team like this on the Road you have to take advantage of the opportunities given...3 times Bills receivers got wide open down the field, and Fitz was only able to hook up one out of three...It's an oversimplification no question, but complete all 3 of those Passes and it's probably more than enough to win this Game...Say what you will about whether or not Jones could have caught his chance, and I'm not saying that Jones could not catch that pass either, but the fact is Fitz did not throw a Pass that Jones could haul in easily...And he just simply overthrew CJ is the truest of Fitz form...We've seen this from Fitz forever, and IMHO it's the single reason why I'm not a Fitz guy...He continually misses on big plays...Go back this Season and you'll find plenty of them...In the NFL...especially on the Road...You have to hit more than you miss if you plan on winning with any consistency...These were Plays where the Offense got EXACTLY what they wanted to get, the receivers were open deep, but they still could not convert... But then again I've been over Fitz for a long, long, time now...Just watching the clock at this point...

What a pathetic performance playing a Team they should beat...Chan just does not have it...He's got to go...And he needs to take Fitz with him...
