  1. Way back when, during the last re-alignment, I was very much in favor of a Bills, Steelers, Browns, Bengals Division...At that time Mr Wilson was vocal in his desire to keep the Bills traditional rivalries, especially with Miami...I did feel at the time, and still do now, that the thought process by The Bills Organization was short sighted...By this time, I'm sure some healthy rivalries could be surfacing that are equally as intense as The Bills and Fish now...That rivalry has lost a hell of a lot of steam to be honest... I'm really not trying to rip on Ralph...But I'll always believe The Bills should be in the AFC North, and Baltimore should be in the AFC East...It made sense then, and it makes even more sense now...All the stuff about larger markets and warm weather matters not...This is the NFL...Money flows like water...Cleveland and Pittsburgh are both within a 3 hr or so drive...I actually think it would help The Bills and Browns Home attendance...Granted this is just my opinion...Anyway...
  2. Seriously? That's why you posted this? To make Fitz look better in our eyes? Okey doke...Done...
  3. That's why he got ran out of Dallas...
  4. Is there a possibility that The Bills can get a better deal due to Woody's injury past? I don't know...But I would be working overtime to lock that Kid up long-term...He's outstanding when he's in there...He may be the best in the NFL at his position...When healthy of course...
  5. Right...We could have kept Moorman to do that!...
  6. Agreed...And I guess it's selective memory time for some around here...Because Moorman has had some terrible games over the past few years...He's no where near the Punter he used to be...Still a great guy though...
  7. Agreed...Great guy, but his skills have diminished yearly...And Powell has serious potential...Not surprised one bit...I was surprised Moorman made it on the Roster, though admittedly he Punted out of his mind in Pre Season...And lets not forget this Team is in a bit of a transition, especially since David Nelson is out...More running game, try to play tough D, field position.... It was time for Moorman to go...Best of luck to him...
  8. This ^^^ That was a terrible call...Period...End of story...
  9. This ^^^ times one million...
  10. Agreed...That was my 1st thought as well...UGH!!!
  11. I think what separates KW from the type of player he probably should be based on his physical attributes are his smarts, and yes his relentless determination...When he saw that FB was going to try to block him one-on-one he immediately went into smash-mode and made a fantastic play on the QB...All that happened in a split second...Williams has a uncanny ability to think it, and do it...with power...in a half-a-heartbeat...He's really something else...
  12. There was a TON of that in the 2nd half last year...Just a TON of it...That's basically what cost Edwards his job...We'll see how much better it is this year...But it happened on Offense and Defense at times last year for sure...And now it happened in Week #1... Personally I think on the Offensive side, in a terrible way, the David Nelson injury may be the best thing to happen to this Team...Not that they would not be better with Nelson because they would...But if this injury proves to be the catalist in truly balancing this Offense...then it's a plus in a weird way...The Bills are going nowhere as a Pass 1st, 5 WR spread base Offense because their QB is not talented enough to do it with consistancy...VERY few QB's are...If they can establish the Run 1st and foremost...Run more 2-TE, and 3 WR sets, being able to Run and Pass out of everything...Then I think they have a chance...
  13. Well I think Jay was being a little sarcastic...Anyway...Steve Smith is the vocal leader of that team and has been for a while now...He'll say just about anything...Sometimes he says WAY too much...But he's got Cam's best interest in mind and I'm sure Cam knows it...
  14. 5 Sacks in 5 Games is not suited? Phillips made it work...He said Mario was an OLB in a 3-4 from day #1 when he got there, and I really don't think Mario did anything but prove him right for those 5 Games...And I do realized Phillips used him on or around the D-Line almost exclusively (mostly standing, but sometimes in a 3-point)... But anyway...All I'm saying is the guy was listed as a 3-4 OLB and did extremely well in those 5 Games under Wade...
  15. Exactly... And to the OP...Opening Day? Really? Any idea what Fitz's numbers were like for the 10 previous games combined? The booing had nothing to do with Opening Day pettiness and everything to do with...well...Fitz...
  16. This is the biggest difference I've noticed...It's definitely more chippy...And there are little things going unnoticed, maybe even intentionally...But overall I'm kind of surprised they have been this good...Not to say they are good...Just saying I thought this would be a disaster...
  17. I saw that as well...And took great pleasure in the glaring discomfort on Harrison's face...
  18. That's a good formula...At this point it means The Bills are going to HAVE to win at Cleveland, at Miami, and at Indy...Then they have to steal one from either NE, San Fran, Arizona, or Houston... Based on what I've seen so far, that's going to be a tall test...We'll see next week...If they build on what they did today, and the Defense can shut down the Rookie QB, then The Bills are on their way...But when you look at what Miami, Indy and Arizona did today...it's already not as easy as it looked on paper...
  19. I'm not sure if any of you heard...But Cordy Glenn can't play LT in the NFL...
  20. I sat Bowe...I'm a terrible FF Manager...
  21. Thriller!!!
  22. You have got to be kidding me...Really? Great Play Call too...
  23. GO BILLS!!! Show me something...
  24. I do think these kids that can REALLY sling the ball coming out of College spreads will have an advantage in the coming years...But they are going to have to adjust to being Passers 1st...For sure... Don't get me wrong either...I'm a Michigan Fan...I know Robinson is not the future of the NFL QB... Look at tonight's Tennessee/Florida game...Bray has got a heck of an arm, and his WR's did not help him at all in that Game...But it was Florida's pressure on Bray, and his inability to extend the play that killed Tennessee on Offense tonight...I think those QB's, the one's that can't hurt you with their feet, are a dying breed in Football...Both Pro, and eventually in College too... It's just what I see...But heck I could be wrong...
