  1. That sounds about right...But I think the chances are very good that one of the QB prospects remaining jumps Barkley into the 1st...I'm just not really high on Barkley...And I'm guessing he's going to get exposed a bit during the workouts...I still don't see a great outcome unless The Bills use that Top 10 on a QB...The way it thins out this year, and the way QB's have elevated in the Draft, I would hate to see The Bills get stuck with sloppy seconds...
  2. Agree 100%...The record is simply not good enough, and Nix's 3 years have been littered with mistakes...
  3. My guess is by the time it all shakes out that Smith, Glennon, Jones, and Wilson go in the 1st...Barkley slides into the 2-3 Rd area...If The Bills take Te'o, or any other position player with their first pick it will be slim pickings remaining at QB after that...This is not the QB class of 2011 or 2012...It's thinner...Still some talent, but thinner...
  4. No offense but...You do understand all College QB's do not result in NFL busts...Right? And also, all College QB's are not comparable to Johnson, Losman, and Edwards...You get that right? I'm just asking because I wonder while reading certain posts on this board if some Bills Fans are living in a kind of Buffalo Bills observatory bubble of some sort...
  5. And I think Te'o will be just fine as well...I just don't know about Top 10 fine...
  6. ^^^ this He's a great kid and a good prospect...He'll be a better prospect if he can run in the 4.5 - 4.6 range at Indy...Which I doubt, but hope he will...I don't think he's all-hype like some around here...But he is certainly a bit hyped...No question... There is no way I could ever sign-off on Drafting Te'o over whatever QB may be available at #4 - #10 for The Bills...I just can't do it because of how bad I think this Team needs to move forward at the QB position...And believe me I understand the risk...I know they have to get that QB pick right, which I believe accounts for 99.9% of Bills Fans fears when we start talking about taking a QB with that 1st pick...Lets face it, the confidence in Nix getting a QB pick right is certainly not high...Considering the fact that he passed on Dalton, Kaepernick, and Wilson, to Draft Aaron Williams and TJ Graham...Still, as much as I like Te'o, I think you can get as good in the 2nd or 3rd round with solid Scouting...The 2nd Round always seems to be a good round for LB's in the NFL Draft...No way I would take a LB in the 1st Round in 2013...IMHO, that pick needs to address the QB position...Period...
  7. I can honestly say if Buddy had at least tried...I mean at least one Draft Pick at QB in the 1st 3 Rounds over the past 3 Drafts...I would be a lot easier on him...But in this day and age of NFL Football to think you could get by with Fitz, and to not recognize you better bring in some stiff competition...That to me is inexcusable...It's the QB position dummy!!!
  8. No thanks...That strategy leaves you desperate if a couple QB's you did not expect to be Drafted come off the board after you pick high in the 1st...That approach is what leads to picks like JP Losman, and McCargo...That kind of Draft strategy is for Teams that can gamble a bit at the QB position...The Bills cant gamble...They need a QB NOW...They better get one with that 1st Pick, especially with this crop coming out...Otherwise they risk being left out in the cold...Again...
  9. What a week 17 huh? I hate the Jets so much I can't even put it into words, yet we need to lose that freaking game...There is no way I can sit and watch that game and hope for a Jets win...No way...Welcome to being a Bills Fan...
  10. Most of the complaints I've heard/read out of Indy were about Chris not Bill...Polian would not come here as GM...He would definitely want the President job...And I think obviously he would like to bring his kid in to be the GM...I'm not too crazy about that combination to be honest...And if Whaley, or Nix, stuck around I think it would be a clusterf***...So...I guess we'll see...Or maybe not...Who knows...
  11. I agree about Manuel...He may wow some with his size and athletic ability, which are both great...But he's wildly inaccurate at times and just does not come off as too cerebral with his play...He needs a TON of work...He's no where near the QB Glennon is right now, and he played with twice the amount of talent Glennon did in College...
  12. Right... Like John Elway... Geno Smith is a Pass 1st QB all the way...He just happens to have the athletic ability to get out of trouble when he needs to...He's a studied kid who lives and breathes Football...If you can't get that from watching him I don't know what to tell you except I strongly disagree...
  13. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tebow is already all-but a Jacksonville Jag...He said he spoke with sources inside the Jags Organization that told him J-Ville is certain they will bring him in if the Jets let him go, and that there would be an open competition for the Starting QB job there between Tebow, Henne, and Gabbert... So...For the love of Tim Tebow's God...Can we end this speculation right here, right now? Please? Y'all are killing me...
  14. I see this one has legs!!!
  15. I'd be happy with the off-season Free Agency if we re-signed Byrd and Levitre...I would love to see Bowe or Maualuga, but I'm guessing they go elsewhere...Adding competition anywhere on Defense could not hurt...
  16. 1) Cox 2) Marino 3) Shula 4) Morris 5) Oliver
  17. That would be fine...But it's going to have to be one heck of a pay-cut...
  18. If that's all you see what watching Geno Smith then...You need to watch more...He makes an absolute ton of throws all over the field...He's certainly not perfect...But he definitely makes short, intermediate, and long passes...And he can throw them on a rope when his mechanics are sound...Also, Smith is known to be a real good study...He lives Football... "He's a very intelligent kid," WVU HC Dana Holgorsen said of Smith. "His goal in life, his focus in life, is to learn as much about football as he possibly can. He loves to read. He loves to draw. He's got some hobbies. But I guarantee you, when he's reading and drawing, he's still thinking about football."
  19. Cut...Buh bye...
  20. I honestly would rather be hung by my toenails than stick with Fitz to do anything other than hold a clipboard...He's not good enough, he never was, and he never will be...No Fitz...Please for the love of all things good...No Fitz in 2013...I'll take my lumps with any Rookie...And I mean ANY Rookie over Fitz...
  21. It pains me to say it, but I think you are far more right than wrong concerning KW...You simply cannot have a Defense that gets run on the way Buffalo's Defense gets run on, then turn around and say you have a Pro Bowl caliber DT...Williams is VERY good at times, then he's gone...poof! He'll make a play in the backfield then you don't hear from him for 2 quarters...then he'll make another play...I think as far as effort and grit goes, the guy is great...But Offense go right at the interior of The Bills D-Line constantly and those holes are gaping...There is no way Williams or Dareus can be considered elite DT's until this Bills Defense can put a lid on those massive holes, and start being consistent vs the run game in, and game out...
  22. The 2013 prospects have a wide range of upside, and downside...To me at least, Geno Smith looks more like the QB's of the future in the NFL...Guys who can pass it REAL well, stretch the field with their arms, then turn around and kill you with their running ability...It makes play calling SO much easier, especially when you have a weapon like CJ Spiller in the same backfield...If I'm going to get my preference, I want a kid like Smith...But there is only one Geno Smith in this Draft...So after that you just have to grab the next best guy and build around his skills...
  23. Bray will be over-drafted the same way Osweiler was...Bray has a REALLY good arm and he's tall...I doubt very much if he makes it out of the 2nd Round...Not saying that is where he should go, just saying QB's with his type of skill set will get over-drafted 100% of the time...Plus...In Bray's defense...I watched 3 Tennessee games this year...And in each game I watched I could not believe the dropped passes...And a couple were sure 6 deep passes right on the money...Scouts will see that on film I promise you, and it will help Bray move up... Glennon is a much better overall prospect that Bray for sure...He's thicker too...And that's going to be important when he gets hit...Because they ALL get hit...Bray looks like a twig...He looks like he'll snap in two... And Smith, Glennon, Jones, or Wilson in the 1st...
