  1. No kidding. As cheap beers go, it's pretty much the best.
  2. I hear this all the time and it's such a load of bunk. Being hot headed means you can't control your emotions, nothing else. All coaches care about winning, they don't have to have a temper tantrum in front of fans to prove it.
  3. Can you guys go somewhere else to go there please.
  4. Yeah, I like a feisty coach too, but that doesn't mean he has to get in shouting matches with everybody. He needs to learn how to control himself. He looks like a guy who is beginning to buckle under the pressure.
  5. Ha Ha has a unique ankle tackling style that's proving to be ineffective.
  6. Clinton-Dix looked like a Bill on that TD.
  7. No kidding, this isn't college football. They don't have a selection committee determining who makes the playoffs. Win enough games and they're in. That's all the matters.
  8. So does that mean Peyton's retiring from the playoffs?
  9. I have two thoughts on Brady: 1) Tom Brady is one of the best QB's to ever play the game. 2) F*ck Tom Brady.
  10. Errr, yeah, they were all born nude. Is this a trick question?
  11. He's everything that is good about football. One of my all time favorite Bills despite being on a sorry ass team his entire career. I love me some FJ.
  12. What would TBD be without hyperbole in every post that starts a new thread?
  13. Hah, that was my first thought as well.
  14. The exact opposite approach. Like most have said, stack the line and stop the run but they have no need to blitz over and over again. That just plays into EJ's strength - the dump-off pass. What they want to do is play the run and then drop the backers back into coverage and make EJ throw into that coverage or dump it off. If he does the latter its an easy matter for the LBs to come in and stop it for a short gain. That being said, EJ is young so the Bears need to mix it up. A blitz here and there to keep him honest and a bit confused as to what the D is going to do. The last thing they need to do is just bring the heat over and over - particularly with an OL than can be beaten one on one.
  15. Over/under: 4 I'll take the under at 0.
  16. I guess that depends on who you are "friended up" with...
  17. It was also having no vet WR who he could rely on. He had Stevie who wasn't exactly Mr. Reliable in terms of being where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be. EJ's most reliable targets were another rookie and Chandler.
  18. I vividly remember hearing the Chargers players and coaches rave about Ryan Leaf in his first training camp and went looking for some of that vid. I didn't find it but I did find this which has a few clippings about some of his first pre-season games: http://www.footballp...is-meaningless/ Read that and tell me how important practice games are in predicting a QBs future.
  19. And that might be a more appropriate time to complain about it instead of, you know, before an actual game is played.
  20. He hasn't played an actual game yet and we're talking like he doesn't need years to develop?
