So at this point the hierarchy is... Beane/McD Schoen Gaine Boyd I wonder where Allen would fall in relation to Boyd? It's interesting that Beane has been so transparent about the pecking order.

LB and Safety jump out and make me nervous. All in all looking at the roster this way makes me feel better. We've got some talent for sure. I like the Ryan Davis pick up.

Is it just me or is it full on radio silence with regards to the rookie mini-camp and now OTA's? It seems like in the past we'd get a video update or highlights from each day. Very little coming out lately.

True story...I was on a flight from Houston and sat next to Bill O'Brien the day that happened. I mentioned it to him (I know, obnoxious, whatever) and he glared at me with a death stare. He did not seem excited at all, maybe it was the annoying Bills fan bothering him.

Maybe its just me, but I've passed out naked outside several times in my younger years. I get it, not a good look, but if he just comes out and says "I had a rough night and threw too many down", he's good with me. I don't think you cut him for it. Call me crazy, but I think Adolphus Washington could raise some hell up the middle in this scheme.

Zay is interesting for me. I live in Greenville, NC and have seen him up close many times. Initially I would have agreed with you, but after hearing what some of the coaches here have said of him (I have a cousin on the staff) the consensus is that Zay was limited by the system, not the other way around. He has been practicing like a pro for the past 2 years. His father and uncle were both pros. He has worked on all the routes and all the finer points of playing WR at the NFL level for 2 years. If he isn't our number 2, there will be a lot of people who know him very well as a player that will be surprised.

Not sure yet on Milano, but the other 3 I'm with you. If we do indeed get 4 solid starters out of this draft it would be a big success compared to recent past.

I just don't see him as a 10 sack guy, but maybe I'm missing something. To me he's an edge setting run stopper and I don't think that is a bad thing.

I expect minimal explosion and burst as a pass rusher but remain hopeful he plays decent against the run.

This 100x over. It is so hard with the giant monkey on our backs, but they've got to see it through.

I live in NC and know a ton of panthers fans. Most of them know nothing about football at all, but the few who do and the ones I trust, think we knocked it out of the park with both of them. They'd honestly prefer McD and Beane to Rivera and Gettleman.
