  1. On that note, anyone with Gamepass, try this... Watch all of TTs throws and all of NPs throws in slow motion. If it's anything like week 1 there will be a big difference in where the WR is in the route when the ball comes out. I'm guessing week 2 will be the same.
  2. This is where I am as well. I want to see Peterman make quick decisions and acurate throws. I'm hoping he progresses.
  3. i love that Zay is going to have him as a mentor.
  4. I'm way more worried about OT than I am CB or WR. I am expecting the defense to rebound from last year, even without Darby and Gilmore, simply because we are going to let our strength (D-line) be our strength. That will trickle back to the LB's and DB's. The offense should be as good as last year...if Tyrod isn't running for his life. OT is a big problem.
  5. If Cordy misses any time they are really going to regret letting crazy Cyrus go.
  6. I just watched Peterman's snaps from the Vikes game for the 5th time. What stood out to me was: -He threw with anticipation and was pretty accurate. The throws that were not accurate were mostly related to pressure/really bad pass protection. The Vikes brought several blitzes. -He gets the ball out quickly and decisively. Put in the exact same situation Peterman was in...I don't know if any other QB on this roster goes 52% completion %. -He threw with pretty good zip and didn't have to force it (Fitz putting his whole body into it) to do so. -His feet were better than expected. I'm not ready to anoint him yet, but I am really looking forward to seeing him on Thursday.
  7. Get them all on a bus for a good old fashioned tour of the falls and quick trip to the new era plant!
  8. I don't mind the players being on edge in August. I'd be more worried if there weren't a few scraps after a good ass chewing. McD needs to reel them in before the regular season gets here though.
  9. One of my good friends is a Cowboys fan and he had a great point about they type of offense we are now running being a much better option for Buffalo weather. When so much of your passing game is focused on vertical routes you put yourself at a disadvantage in the wind/snow. The WCO and more horizontal routes are easier to play in the elements. You don't have to abandon half your offense because of wind. I'd be curious to see the rate at which we hit on deep balls later into the season. It makes some sense.
  10. The funny thing about Peterman is that the only real knock on him was arm strength. He's accurate, experienced in a pro style offense, smart, knows how to read a defense and where to go with the ball. To my eyes his ball had plenty of zip on it on Thursday night. It will be interesting to see how they bring him along. I'm somewhat encouraged that he may have something to him.
  11. IF healthy, there will not be a drop-off between him and Darby in a zone scheme. Read this... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2264750-rams-cornerback-ej-gaines-proving-to-be-one-of-2014-nfl-drafts-early-steals
  12. For the systems we run Gaines and Matthews are good fits. I'd imagine the difference in production (if there is any) is minimal compared to Sammy and Darby. Throw in the value of the picks and I don't understand why anyone is upset.
  13. Exactly. I'll Take 2014 Gaines over 2016 Darby all day. By all accounts he's finally healthy.
  14. I think this has more to do with it than most realize.
  15. Ragland probably feeling a little uncomfortable right about now.
  16. I do now, not before today though. I'm sold.
  17. No, we are finally competent. I absolutely love it. I was iffy on Beane and McD, now I'm officially sold.
  18. I would seriously reconsider. It's just not a kid friendly environment.
  19. I'm starting to get excited about this Yarbrough kid. I'm looking forward to seeing him against the vikes.
