I really hope Lawson can go. He's been rock solid this year. The DL rotation will be important against this Atl offense. We need as many bodies as we can get.

I get it. I'm not claiming it was some genius, outside the box decision. It was just nice to see the team and coach calm and calculated. I don't remember that under Rex. It was like chickens with their heads cut off. The moment wasn't too big for this staff on the final drive against a quality opponent.

If Worthy is back I'll say Lawson. He has been an animal against the run.

I did not see this discussed, my apologies if I missed it. After the 2 minute warning in the 4 quarter the Broncos had 3rd and 4 from the Bills 42 yard line. McD let the Broncos get set and then called a timeout. After the timeout, our DB's had them blanketed and Gaines gets a break up intended for Sanders. On the next play, 4th and 4, McD did it again. Denver lined up, McD called timeout and again the Bills had them covered up. The pass was incomplete to Sanders, game over. I know he has gotten some grief about clock and timeout management but I was really impressed with the way McD handled that final Denver drive. It seemed like a very intelligent approach to burn those timeouts and it worked. You could see the frustration in the Denver players body language when both timeouts were called. It has been a long time since it's felt like we were a step ahead of an opponent. In that series it felt like we were and it was refreshing.

4.8 YPC average is tied for 3rd worst in the league.

He has been awesome. This is a really good look for the franchise.

This is the most frustrating part. With the same personnel they were fantastic.

I think McD outsmarted himself vs Carolina. His knowledge of their scheme and players caused him to give them too much credit. I like a Jets/week 1 game plan in this one. Pound the rock.

ATL is allowing 4.8 per carry on the ground. We have got to run the ball and shorten the game. If we can hold them to FGs and keep it close at the half we have a shot. This is one of those games where we need the breaks, calls and have to get a little lucky. If the Bills play well and come up a little short I'm still much more encouraged by this team (and our remaining schedule) than I was 3 weeks ago.

I expected more from him early, I'll admit it. Other than Kupp none of the rookie WRs has done much. I still think Zay will be a really good player.

There was something about the way A. Lynn called the games last year that seemed very unpredictable. I know it wasn't a perfect offense but last season I said "wow, great play call" aloud more than any in recent memory. I understand that Rico has been around a while and knows more about football than any of us ever will. I just think these guys get blinded by their schemes. It's very odd. This years offense has been brutally predictable.

In all seriousness, Miller vs Mills could be a matchup of the very best pass rusher in the the NFL vs the very worst (starting) pass protector. Millers strength perfectly exploits Mills weaknesses.
